This third iteration of the Osmo Pocket series brings a much-needed thing: the rotating display. You can set the 2-inch touchscreen to horizontal or vertical orientation per your preference.

1-inch Sensor

One of the key USP of the Pocket 3 is the 1-inch CMOS sensor. This is a significant jump over the 1/1.7-inch sensor of its predecessor. With this, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has better low-light performance and is capable of recording 4K video at 120 fps along with stereo recording.

You also get 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour modes for post-production colour grading. A 3-axis gimbal mechanical stabilisation complements all this. Furthermore, the new DJI offering features ActiveTrack 6.0 with face auto-detection and dynamic framing, 4X digital zoom, and panorama mode.

Live Streaming and Webcam

The Pocket 3 is not only for vlogging. You can also live stream by connecting it to your smartphone. On top of that, it can also double as a webcam for taking video calls or attending online meetings.

Talking of the battery, a 1300mAh cell powers the Pocket 3 which is rated for up to 116 minutes of usage. The charging speed is also improved with 80% juice in just 16 minutes. For wireless connectivity, it supports WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.
