Google Pixel 9a specs and pricing gets leaked

Google launched the Pixel 9 series a little while ago, comprising the base model, Pro model, Pro XL variant, and the Fold option. Like always, the American company is ready to add an affordable option with the “a” suffix to the series. Recent leaks have revealed key specifications and pricing details for Google’s upcoming Pixel 9a. Here’s everything we know so far about the latest Google Pixel 9a, including its expected price in Nepal.

Performance and Storage

The Google Pixel 9a will feature the Tensor G4 chipset. It will come with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1. The Pixel 9a will include a 5,100mAh battery. It supports 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.

Display and Design

The phone includes a 6.285-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2424 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the display offers peak brightness up to 2,700 nits and HDR brightness of 1,800 nits. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen. The phone measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 185.9 grams. It is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. Some leaked photos had previously surfaced, confirming the design we saw in previous renders. The Pixel 9a keeps that clean look with the cameras in a smooth oval bump, and the bump isn’t too big.

Camera Setup

The rear camera module consists of two sensors. The main camera is a 48MP f/1.7 (Samsung ISOCELL GN8), while the ultrawide camera is a 13MP f/2.2 (Sony IMX712). The front camera is also a 13MP Sony IMX712. Meanwhile, the device will ship with Android 15, promising seven years of OS and security updates. The Pixel 9a will include standard 5G connectivity.
