Hisense E-ink Devices Overview
Hisense A5 Pro CC Overview
The A5 Pro CC is an upgrade to last year’s Hisense A5. The most significant change has been in the display – A5 Pro features a 5.84-inch E-ink display that supports a total of 4096 colors. The E-ink displays are widely used in the electronic e-book readers cause they resemble paper prints. They don’t use any kind of backlit system as in LCD systems. Traditional E-ink display could only display Black and White; however, with the introduction of Advanced Color ePaper (ACEP), they are now capable of viewing up to 4096 colors. The E-ink display has a low refresh rate and isn’t suitable for anything other than reading e-books. One can’t even enjoy watching videos on this display.
