Hitachi held a meet-and-greet event on 29th July, where they revealed four exciting product lines that’ll be available in Nepal soon. Let’s look at these products and Hitachi’s plans for Nepal.
Hitachi Nepal: Meet-and-greet event
Universal Electrocom, a branch of Ramesh Corps, is the authorized distributor for Hitachi Home Appliances in Nepal. Considered a premium brand, Hitachi struggled to maintain its footing in the Nepali market in the past.
Now, the company is planning to strengthen its operation in Nepal, keeping customer satisfaction in mind. Universal Electrocom has promised to offer better sales service and after-sale care on Hitachi products.
The meet-and-greet was attended by Chen Teck Beng, the managing director of AHSG, who expressed his desire to take Hitachi home appliances to all corners of Nepal.
At the event, Hitachi unveiled a washing machine, a stick vacuum cleaner, a microwave, and a refrigerator. According to the company, these new products will be available starting Q4, 2022.
Hitachi Front Load Washing Machine BD-D120XGV
This washing machine from Hitachi utilizes AI technology for washing and drying clothes. It offers a washing capacity of 12kg and a drying capacity of 8kg. Moreover, the machine is front-loading and has features like Auto Dosing and Wind Iron.
Hitachi claims that the washing machine can dry clothes without wrinkle thanks to their wind iron technology. It also connects to a phone via Hitachi’s Washer app.

The PV-XL2K cordless stick vacuum cleaner aims to make cleaning easier with its 1.5 kg weight. Hitachi has included 7 green LEDs on the vacuum head, which makes dust more visible.
More so, it has various attachments like a handy brush and mini-bed-nozzle for versatile cleaning options. It has a tangle-free design that allows the dust to be disposed of with a single button push.
Hitachi Microwave Ovens
At the event, Hitachi Nepal showcased 4 different models with their own distinct feature sets. These ovens featured sleek modern design alongside various functionality. The representatives also raved about the one-touch operation capabilities of their microwave ovens.
Hitachi Refrigerator R-WB640VOPB
The R-WB640VOPB is a luxury four-door washing machine from Hitachi with some exciting features. One of the main features of this refrigerator is its vacuum preservation compartment, which helps prevent oxidization and dehydration.
Furthermore, it has a selectable zone that allows the user to customize the storage compartment to meet their storage needs. According to Hitachi, the triple power filter technology in the refrigerator can remove odor and 99% of bacteria.
Hitachi Appliances Price in Nepal
Though Hitachi is unveiled its future product line in Nepal, its pricing is still a mystery. However, we will have them once they start hitting the market later this year.
