Honor is on a roll with a third foldable phone this year. The Chinese brand introduced Honor Magic Vs and Magic V Purse in July and September, respectively. And now the successor to the Magic Vs has arrived with a Magic Vs2 moniker. Here in this article, we’ll discuss the specs, features, and expected price of the Honor Magic V2s in Nepal.

Honor Magic V2s Overview:

A slightly lighter body

Honor has not altered much when it comes to the looks of the Magic V2s. It looks quite identical to the Magic Vs while managing to lose some slight chunks (229g vs 231g), thanks to the magnesium alloy material. While folded, the thickness is 10.7mm, a pretty sleek side. To ensure some sturdiness, you also get a titanium hinge alloy which has passed the SGS gold certification as per Honor.

Honor Magic Vs2 Design and Build

Likewise, folding and unfolding the device is claimed to be smooth and natural due to Honor’s Luban 0 gear structure, a self-developed shield steel. It is available in three color options: Glacier Blue, Coral Purple, and Velvet Black.

Display

In the display department, the Magic Vs2 borrows the same 6.43-inch and 7.9-inch cover display and inner displays from the Magic Vs. Both are LTPO OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and HDR 10+ certifications. What’s even better is the Dolby Vision and IMAX certifications, making it an ideal choice for a great movie experience. On top of that, both panels support stylus input.

Camera

As for the optics, the foldable phone boasts a triple camera setup on the rear side. The primary camera is a 50MP shooter, accompanied by a 20MP telephoto lens with 2.5X optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide unit. For selfies and video calls, you get two 16MP front cameras embedded in the hole punch cutout of the cover and inner displays.

Performance

Under the hood, the foldable is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, one step back from the 8 Gen 2 on the Magic Vs. This 5G silicon features one Cortex-X2 at 3.2GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.75GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores at 2.0GHz. Handling the graphics here is an Adreno 730 GPU.

Honor has paired the chip with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Talking of the software, the Magic Vs2 boots on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 on top.

Battery and Others

Moving on, the smartphone gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
