Design and Display

HTC U23 Pro first made its way online via Taiwan’s PTT message board. Alongside some live hands-on images, renders of the phone revealed its plastic back and frames. And those speculations turned out to be true after all since HTC U23 Pro indeed has an all-plastic build with Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front. Available in either “Coffee Black” or “Snow White” color options, this phone is IP67 dust and water-resistant too.

Likewise, this midrange phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, while also retaining a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the display, HTC U23 Pro packs a large 6.7-inch FHD AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance

In terms of performance, this phone is powered by last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 5G chip, with 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage. You also get a microSD slot to further expand your storage. As for the software, it boots on Android 13.
