Insta360 has now expanded its webcam lineup with the new Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro. These arrive just a few months after the standard Link 2 and 2C launched back in September.
Insta360 Link 2 Pro and 2C Pro Overview
The Major Sensor Upgrade

The biggest change here is the jump in sensor size. The regular models used a 1/2-inch sensor, whereas these Pro versions move up to a 1/1.3-inch sensor. This results in a light-sensitive area that is over twice as large as the standard versions. To help even more with lighting, Insta360 has added Dual Native ISO, which makes difference in a dimly lit room compared to the single ISO setup on the base models.
Tracking and Movement
If you go for the Link 2 Pro, you’re getting a 2-axis gimbal that physically moves to keep you in the frame. It adds new "Tracking Area" and "Pause Tracking" features that weren't as refined on the previous generation, and allows you to set specific zones where the camera should stop following you. The Link 2C Pro, meanwhile, stays static like the regular 2C but uses intelligent in-sensor zoom to mimic that movement and can now auto-adjust the frame if someone else walks into the shot.

Audio and Quality Tweaks
Both cameras still hit 4K at 30fps, but the Pro models have slightly adjusted the optics with an f/1.9 aperture and a wider 84-degree field of view. On the audio side, the Pro units feature four distinct pickup mode(Focus, Wide, Original, and Standard). This should definitely give you more control than the more basic AI noise cancellation found on the September models.
