Vivo’s subbrand iQOO has launched a new TWS alongside iQOO 11S in China. Named the iQOO TWS 1, this pair of wireless earbuds packs 12.2mm dynamic drivers and even supports aptX Lossless codec. Design
The iQOO TWS 1 features a dual-tone yellow + black finish like its predecessor — the iQOO TWS Air — on the “Track” color option. Whereas on the “Legend White” model, you get BMW Motorsport’s classic tri-stripe logo on the charging case. These earbuds bear an in-ear design with silicone tips and weigh only 4.98 grams. Whereas the iQOO TWS 1 gets an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes for the earbuds.
Audio
As for the audio, iQOO has gone with a 12.2mm driver unit with a precision speaker magnetic circuit system. These earbuds are tuned by Golden Ears Lab and have Qualcomm Surround sound certification as well. iQOO TWS 1 also supports 3D panoramic audio, 3D binaural recording support, and a triple mic setup.
Other than this, you also get transparency mode, dual connection, and “MonsterSound” e-sports sound effects here. And iQOO also says these earbuds can bring down latency up to 54ms. These earbuds have active noise cancellation (ANC) too, and the TWS 1 can drown out up to 49dB of outside noise.
Connectivity
One of the key USPs of these earbuds is their support for end-to-end aptX support. iQOO claims you can stream up to 1200Kbps audio here, thanks to the support for Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless codecs. Other than this, the iQOO TWS 1 supports AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs too, and pairs to your phone and other devices via Bluetooth 5.3.

Each earbud packs a 50mAh battery while the charging case with a USB-C port holds a big 420mAh cell. Its battery life is rated for up to an impressive 10.5 hours with ANC off (or 6 hours with ANC on) with the earbuds alone. While it can go along for 42 or 20 hours respectively with the case.
