Motorola has expanded its portfolio of smartphones in Nepal by launching the G22. So, let's discuss the Moto G22 in detail, including its specs, features, and official price in Nepal.
Moto G22 Overview:
Design and Display
Moto G22 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ “Max Vision” display. It’s an IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Except for the glass on the front, the rest of the body is made of a special type of plastic called PMMA. Compared to the widely used polycarbonate, PMMA is known to be more scratch-resistant. On the downside, it doesn’t have the same impact resistance as polycarbonate.
That aside, Moto G22 has a water-repellent design. It is 8.49mm thick and weighs around 185 grams. Motorola offers the phone in three colors: Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the Moto G22 packs MediaTek’s Helio G37 chipset. Like most Helio G-series chips, G37 is based on a 12nm FinFET process.
It is an octa-core processor with two clusters of Cortex-A53 configured at 2.3GHz and 1.8GHz, respectively. While it doesn’t have the full suite of MediaTek’s HyperEngine 2, it does support a few of its components.
The chip is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can even add external storage via the dedicated MicroSD card slot.
Moto G22 flaunts a quad-camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultrawide shooter with a 119° Field of View. Then there are two 2MP sensors for portrait and macro shots, respectively.
Over on the front, Motorola has included a 16MP sensor for selfies. You can only shoot 1080p 30fps videos from front and back cameras on the G22.
Rest of the Specs
All this is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery which supports charging speeds of up to 15W. Moto G22 ships with Android 12 out of the box with My UX on top. There is a physical fingerprint scanner on the side for biometrics.
The official price of the Moto G22 in Nepal is Rs. 22,499 for the sole 4/128GB memory configuration. You can pre-order the phone from Daraz and authorized physical stores.
