Back in May, Motorola launched its latest E-series phone in Nepal, called Moto E40. The phone has now received a price increase in Nepal. Let’s walk through the specs, features, official price, and availability of the Motorola Moto E40 in Nepal.
Motorola Moto E40 Overview:
Design and Display
The Moto E40 flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. To compare, its predecessor—the Moto E20—didn’t have a higher refresh rate support. The back of the phone has a textured finish with a rectangular camera cutout and fingerprint sensor with a batwing Motorola logo. Moto E40 is available in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay color options.

Performance
Moreover, Motorola has brought an upgrade in the chipset department too. Contrary to Unisoc T606 on the E20, the Moto E40 gets Unisoc T700 instead. This octa-core processor is fabricated under TSMC’s 12nm process and consists of two high-performance Cortex-A75 and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum clock speed of up to 1.8 GHz.
Furthermore, this chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. Over on the software front, it runs on Motorola’s MyUX based on Android 11. Fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery that has 10W charging support. Motorola claims that the E40 can offer two days of battery life.
Camera
As for optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back led by a 48MP primary lens. This is followed by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s an 8MP lens on the punch-hole cutout.
Rest of the specs
Moreover, the connectivity options on the Moto E40 include dual-SIM card support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
