MSI Prestige laptops with 11th-gen Intel Core processors are now available in Nepal. The launch of the latest MSI Prestige laptops follows the recent launches of the MSI Summit and Modern series in Nepal. The MSI Prestige series is a sort of middle ground between the high-end Summit series and entry-level Modern series. The latest MSI Prestige laptops can be categorized into three main models – Prestige 15, Prestige 14, and Prestige 14 Evo. Only the Prestige 15 and Prestige 14 Evo is available in Nepal for now.
MSI Prestige 15 Overview:
Design and Display
Here, the MSI Prestige 15 features an aluminum chassis. The diamond-cut edges and sandblasted texture contribute to the elegant look of the laptop. The laptop weighs around 1.6kg. The display can be flipped 180-degree for the Flip and Share feature. MSI Prestige 15 has also gone through the MIL-STD-810G military standard for durability.
The base variant of the Prestige 15 sport an IPS-level FHD screen with thin bezels. However, uses can also choose to go with 4K UHD options. The 4K panel covers 100% of Adobe RGB color gamut and supports True Tone technology.
Keyboard and TouchPad
Prestige 15 comes with a single-clour (white) backlit keyboard. The keys boast key travel of 1.5mm. It is accompanied by a touchpad that is 35% larger than its predecessor. Similarly, MSI also claims it to be 30% more responsive. The touchpad supports multi-finger gestures.
Performance and Memory
Like the latest Summit and Modern series of laptops, the Prestige series too is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors. These laptops can be configured up to Intel Core i7 1185G7. It is paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q. The laptop is available with 16GB and 32GB of dual-channel RAM configuration. Similarly, there is a single NVMe M.2 SSD slot with PCIe Gen4.
The laptop is equipped with the Cooler Boost 3 technology. It consists of 2 dedicated and 3 heat pipes that bring down the temperature of the laptop. Similarly, there is an MSI Center that users can use to adjust and optimize the laptop and its resources according to their usage.
Security
There is an IR camera that you can use to unlock the device using face unlock. Similarly, the laptop has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the touchpad. The fingerprint sensor is compatible with FIDO 2.

The laptop is backed by an 82 Whr battery that the company claims can provide up to 16 hours of battery backup. MSI ships the laptop with a 90W power adapter. With the Prestige 15, you get two Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one HDMI port, and a Micro SD card slot. The laptop supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.

MSI Prestige 14 Evo Overview:
Moving on, the MSI Prestige 14 Evo is a result of a collaboration between Intel and MSI. This laptop has received Evo certification from Intel. With this, Evo-certified laptops guarantee a certain standard of performance like 9+ hours of battery life on an FHD display, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, thin bezels, and more. Other than that the specifications are quite similar to that of other Prestige laptops.
It comes with a 14” IPS-level panel with an FHD resolution. It can be configured with up to 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processors. There is no dedicated graphics card thus the user has to rely on the Intel Iris Xe graphics. The laptop comes with 16GB of RAM and has an NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 slot for SSD. The battery is smaller at 52 Whr and it supports a 65W power adapter. In terms of ports, it has an additional Type-A USB 2.0 port.
