MyPower launches Mypod VR3 — It has a display on the charging case!

Kick Lifestyle launched the ZenBuds a few months back, and its charging case had a touchscreen on the front. It was quite a sensation, and now, another popular homegrown OEM brand — MyPower, has added a similar offering to its catalogue. Let’s talk about the MyPower Mypod VR3 in further detail in this article and also discuss its price in Nepal.

Design

These earbuds come in in-ear fitting with classic AirPods Pro-like looks. They even have black strips near the top of the stem and speaker unit housing. Furthermore, the MyPower Mypod VR3 also ships in a single White option just like the Apple offering.

The AirPods Pro inspiration continues onto the charging case too. However, it has one distinct feature which prevents it from looking like a complete knock-off. There is a display with touch support. You can use this screen to access the various features these earbuds offer.

Audio and Features

The audio on the MyPower Mypod VR3 is driven by a 13mm driver on each bud. Meanwhile, these buds offer environmental noise cancellation during phone calls ensuring a clear calling experience. They are also equipped with ANC, clearing out ambient background noise.

These earbuds come with Bluetooth v5.3 and connect instantly to your device after pairing for the first time. The touch display on MyPower Mypod VR3’s charging case lets you control the buds by changing tracks, fiddling with volume, etc. It also offers other features like toggling noise cancellation, answering calls, “Lost & Find”, camera control, and so on.

Talking of the battery, these buds pack 45mAh cells while the charging case has a 360mAh unit. Combined, they can offer you one full day of music listening. Once drained completely, the whole package can be charged in three hours total. Moreover, they support fast charging too, where plugging in for 15 minutes equates to 150 minutes of playtime. These buds apparently support wireless charging as well.

These earbuds were launched on 22 October 2024 and can be purchased on MyPower’s official website. Though the Mypod VR3 has an MRP of NPR 2,999, you can get it for an introductory price of just NPR 2,499. The company is also offering a warranty of six months on the product.
