The upcoming OnePlus 15 is expected to be the next flagship phone from the Chinese company. Succeeding the OnePlus 13 (review). Yes, there won’t be a OnePlus 14. And interestingly enough, OnePlus is tipped to abandon the circular camera design that we have been seeing from the OnePlus 11 (review) days.
OnePlus 15 rumors
A new-ish design
The latest leak claims that instead of the circular camera island, the OnePlus 15 will get a squarish camera housing instead. It is likely to be similar to that of the OnePlus 13T or OnePlus 13s (review).

As for the cameras themselves, the phone is expected to bear a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Including a wide-angle, an ultrawide, and a periscope lens. Followed by a 32MP selfie shooter. But interestingly enough, OnePlus might be saying goodbye to its Hasselblad collaboration starting with its next flagship phone.
Up front, the OnePlus 15 could have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display. And it might also use LIPO (Low Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology to reduce bezel thickness. However, it could have a downgraded 1.5K resolution compared to the OnePlus 13’s 2K display.
Other than this, we expect the next flagship phone from OnePlus to feature all the usual stuff. Like an IP68/IP69 rating.

Performance and battery
And of course, the OnePlus 15 will be among the first batch of phones to taste Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset as well. Whereas some leaks suggest the phone will also carry a massive 7,000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging. To compare, the OnePlus 13 already had a pretty sizeable 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery.
