OnePlus Nord Buds 2 with ANC, Dolby Atmos sound launched in Nepal

OnePlus Nord Buds was the first TWS from the company under the "Nord" branding. This was recently followed up with Nord Buds 2, which also introduced features like ANC. Design

Visually, not much has changed between the original Nord Buds and the Buds 2. They both are in-ear style, have a flat stem, and can fit snugly into a box-like charging case. The buds are also pretty light at 4.7 grams each, while the case weighs around 37.5g. It is available in Thunder Grey and Lighting White color options. And not to forget, OnePlus has also offered an IP55 rating on the earbuds.

Audio

As for the audio, Nord Buds 2 houses a 12.4mm driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm. Matter of fact, this driver size is the same as the last year's model. Nonetheless, an improvement on the Buds 2 is the support for ANC, a first for a Nord series earbuds.

With this, it will be able to filter out up to 25 decibels (dB) of external noise. There is also support for Dolby Atmos and Dirac Sound Tuning. You can turn on the transparency mode if you need to be aware of your surrounding. For clearer calls, OnePlus has fitted a four-mic setup.

These earbuds are fueled by a 41mAh battery whereas the case has a 480mAh battery that also supports fast charging. In terms of backup, the TWS offers up to 7 hours of playback with ANC off and 36-hour battery life with the charging case. Regarding connectivity, Nord Buds 2 has Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC and SBC codec support. They also have fast pair support but weirdly it's only compatible with OnePlus smartphones.
