Canon EOS RP now in Nepal: A full-frame mirrorless camera that won’t blow your wallet

0

Canon has finally launched a new camera in Nepal. Although the camera was launched a long time, it is finally available now in Nepal. Namely, known as the Canon EOS RP, the new camera is targeted at mainstream consumers. And for this very purpose, the device has been priced aggressively. Learn everything about the latest Canon EOS RP, including its price in Nepal.

Canon EOS RP Overview

Design and Sensor

The Canon EOS RP comes in a small factor and is relatively lighter with the weight of mere 485 grams. Talking about the sensor, the sensor here features 26.2MP resolution, which is lower than what we saw on the more expensive EOS R. Nonetheless, the resolution is remarkable for a midrange camera.

Viewfinder and Extras

Since the device is a mirrorless camera, it has an electronic viewfinder (EVF), which has the size of 0.39-inch. And this colorful OLED EVF flaunts a resolution of 2.36 million dots and a 100% coverage. On the display front, there is a 3-inch TFT panel which is enriched with 1.04 million dots. Since this screen also happens to be fully articulated, you can also capture the selfies. This feature can come really handy for the vloggers.

canon eos rp display

Other than pricing, the most impressive feature of this camera is its capability to record 4K movies. However, the 4K Ultra-HD movies can only be recorded at 24/25fps. Also, the 4K videos suffer a crop, just like the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. Although the presence of the 4K recording option is commendable, these complications might be repulsive for some videographers.

Canon EOS RP Specifications:

  • Camera Weight: 485 grams
  • Image Sensor: 36 x 24 mm, 26.2MP, CMOS, Full Frame
  • Image processor: DIGIC 8
  • Screen: 3-inch TFT, 1.04 million dots, Fully Articulating Screen

DJI Mini 5 might launch this September with LiDAR motor

0

A while ago, we were hearing buzz about the DJI Mini 5 Pro. Now, it looks like DJI is also working on the regular Mini 5. There are fresh rumors saying that the DJI Mini 5 will be launching soon, and it’s going to bring a few nice upgrades over the previous Pro model. Let’s go over everything we’ve heard about the DJI Mini 5 so far.

DJI Mini 5 Overview Rumor

The DJI Mini 5 is most likely going to be the successor of the Mini 4 Pro. But with a Mini 5 Pro also on the horizon, it’s unclear which model is the true successor. DJI really needs to clarify this for us.

Reports claim the anticipated Mini 5 was seen being tested out in public on the streets of China. Well-known leaker Jasper Ellens even posted a low-quality photo of the quadcopter online, and we believe it shows the Mini 5.

Design and everything else

From what we can tell in the leaked photo, the Mini 5 is going to look a lot like the Mini 4 Pro, so there won’t be any major design changes there. But this time, DJI might include a LiDAR sensor which Jasper Ellens already mentioned back in December. That’s a big deal because it’ll help the drone avoid obstacles better, especially in low-light situations. Not just that, the new motors are said to be stronger too which could improve flight stability. That’s something users have really been asking for.

DJI Mini 5 Leaked image

Also, let’s not forget that the camera might get a big bump. Rumors say it could have a 1-inch sensor instead of the Mini 4 Pro’s 1/1.3-inch one. This could make a noticeable difference in image quality, especially in low light. Plus, some sources say it could fly for up to 50 minutes! That’s a serious improvement over Mini 4 Pro’s 34-minute flight time.

DJI Mini 5 Availability

As of now, DJI hasn’t made anything official. Still, leaks are pointing to a possible launch around August or September 2025. We’ll just have to wait a bit more, but things are looking promising!

Motorola has launched its first open-ear earbuds, the Moto Buds Loop, along with the Motorola Edge 60 series. These earbuds come with 12mm drivers tuned by Bose and pack some interesting features. In this article, we’ll break down everything we know about the Moto Buds Loop, from specs to the expected price in Nepal.

Moto Buds Loop Overview

Design and Audio

Starting off with the design, the Moto Buds Loop are built for all-day comfort with a light and secure design. They don’t go inside your ears but rest just outside, wrapping around your ear bone to the back. It kind of gives them a futuristic, cyborg-style appearance, which I think looks pretty cool and different.

Individually, each bud looks like a mini headphone. They also have a water-repellent coating, so they’re safe from sweat, splashes, and daily wear. You can pick from Pantone Trekking Green and Pantone French Oak. What’s really unique is that the French Oak version includes Swarovski crystals, so the earbuds also serve as a fashion accessory.

Moto Buds Loop Design

When it comes to sound, the Moto Buds Loop use 12mm drivers that have been tuned with Bose’s technology. This should give users a more refined and balanced sound quality. Moreover, they support spatial audio and include a dual-mic system that works with something called CrystalTalk AI, which is made to keep calls clear and reduce noise.

Battery and More

These earbuds offer up to 8 hours of use on one charge and up to 37 hours with the charging case. The case charges via USB-C and has a fast-charging feature too where just 10 minutes of charging gives you 3 hours of playback, which is super handy if you’re in a rush.

Moreover, the Moto Buds Loop work with any Bluetooth device, but when connected to Motorola phones or Lenovo laptops, you get extra features. Motorola users can trigger Moto AI actions with the earbuds, and a feature called “Smart Connect” helps you switch smoothly between Motorola and Lenovo devices.

Nikon Camera Price in Nepal [Updated]

Nikon is a Japanese multinational corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company was formed as an optical company in 1917, which was known as Nippon back in the day. And over the years, the brand specialized as a manufacturer of optical lenses (for the cameras) and equipment used in cameras, binoculars, microscopes, and inspection equipment.

From the manufacture of optical products, the brand strode further to expand its lineup of works. The camera brand has also been adroit in semiconductor fabrication through the photolithography process, of which it is still the second largest manufacturer. Even in the chip manufacturing business, Nikon had been the eighth-largest manufacturer in 2017.

And this genuinely popular brand is renowned in Nepal as well. Some camera enthusiasts are also found searching for Nikon cameras in Nepal. But the sad thing is, we do not have an authorized distributor of Nikon cameras or Nikon products in Nepal. So we have a sad fate to buy the Nikon cameras from the gray market on need. Also, there is no authorized service center to mend the damaged part here. So buying the products from the gray market is already repelling.

Nonetheless, we are asked about the latest price of Nikon cameras on our Facebook page quite often. So we went to the gray market (mostly in New Road areas) and performed extensive research on the availability of Nikon cameras in Nepal and their price. And in this article, we accumulated and presented all the Nikon cameras available in Nepal and their latest price. And on generalizing the pricing scenario, Nikon Camera price in Nepal was found to be close to the international prices.

Motorola Edge 60 announced with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset

Motorola has now launched the Edge 60 series, marking its first quad-curved phone in this segment. In this article, we’re focusing on the standard model i.e., the Motorola Edge 60, including its specifications and the expected price in Nepal.

Motorola Edge 60 Overview

Design and Display

First off, let’s talk design. Motorola offers the Edge 60 in two versions. The phone measures either 161.2 x 73.1 x 7.9mm or 8.2mm thick and weighs 179g or 181g, depending on the model.
Now looking at the display, it sports a 6.7-inch P-OLED screen with a sharp resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. The screen runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, supports HDR10+, and hits a stunning 4500 nits of peak brightness, which is something rare at this price range. While the Moto Edge 50 has Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the new model does not have one.

It also displays 1 billion colors and follows a 20:9 aspect ratio. For protection, it’s IP68/IP69 rated for dust and water resistance. In terms of security, this handset has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone comes in three Pantone-inspired shades: Gibraltar Sea, Shamrock, and Plum Perfect.

Performance and Battery

Inside, the Edge 60 is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which outperforms the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE chipset found in the Edge 50. This processor runs on a setup of 4 Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz.

The Mali-G615 MP2 handles graphics, which should be solid for gaming and streaming. Motorola pairs this with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Plus, there’s a microSD card slot for even more space, which is always appreciated.

Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Energy
When it comes to battery, the phone has two choices: one with a 5,200mAh battery and another with a slightly larger 5,500mAh cell. Both support 68W TurboPower fast charging through a wired connection, so you’ll spend less time plugged in.

Camera and Rest

On the back, there’s a triple camera setup. The main camera brings no changes this year with the 50MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, a 24mm wide lens. Next, there’s a 10MP telephoto camera with a 73mm lens which is also the same. The ultrawide camera is impressive this time with a 50MP sensor with f/2.0, 12mm focal length.
Video recording goes up to 4K at 30fps and supports 1080p at various frame rates, including 30, 60, 120, and 240fps with gyro-EIS for smooth shots.
The front camera is another 50MP lens with f/2.0 aperture, wide angle, 0.64µm pixel size, and it also supports 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/120fps video.
For connectivity, it uses USB Type-C 2.0 and also supports GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO for accurate navigation.
