Motorola Razr 60 has been launched with an IP48 rating

Along with the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, the company has introduced a more affordable version. You guessed it right! This one is the vanilla model. In this article, we’ll break down the newly launched Motorola Razr 60, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.

Motorola Razr 60 Overview

Design and Display

Let’s begin with the design. When unfolded, the Motorola Razr 60 has a plastic front, and when folded, it switches to a glass front protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Meanwhile, the back is made of silicone polymer, which feels quite premium despite its “affordable” label.

Motorola Razr 60 Design and Display

On the front, it packs a smaller cover screen with a 3.6-inch size. Once you open it, you’re greeted with a 6.9-inch P-OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. Interestingly, like its Ultra counterpart, it also has an IP48 rating, so yes, it resists dust and even survives dips in water up to 1.5 meters deep. That’s a solid bonus at this price.

Performance and Memory

Now onto performance. Inside, the Razr 60 runs on the Dimensity 7400X chip. This processor brings together four Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.6GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. For graphics, it uses the Mali-G615 MP2 GPU, which should handle most games and tasks just fine.

One cool improvement is the expanded RAM. You get to choose between 8GB, 12GB, and even 16GB of memory. That’s a welcome surprise! Storage starts at 128GB and goes up to 512GB, with a special 1TB model available for exclusive editions—now that’s future-ready.

Camera and Battery

In the camera department, the Razr 60 includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide shooter that can also do macro shots. Inside the main display, there’s a 32MP front camera for selfies, and that’s actually higher than many phones in the same range.

As for the battery, Motorola increased it to 4,500mAh, which is 300mAh more than last year’s Razr 50. However, the charging speeds remain the same with 30W wired and 15W wireless. Not the fastest out there, but it’s enough for most users.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro arrives with a huge 6,000 mAh battery

Motorola raised the bar in the mid-range segment with the Edge 50 Pro last year, and now the company is planning to continue the momentum by introducing its successor. In this article, we will discuss the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro Overview

Design and Display

The Moto Edge 60 Pro measures 160.7 x 73.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs just 186 grams. On the front, it sports a stunning 6.7-inch quad-curved p-OLED display, with a brightness up to 4,500 nits. This screen has a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and supports HDR10+ with a super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, which feels buttery in daily use.

For protection, the phone comes equipped with both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Furthermore, it’s built tough with MIL-ST-810H certification, which covers extreme conditions like high temperatures, 95% humidity, high altitudes, and even drops from up to 1.5 meters.

Moto Edge 60 Pro Design

You get to choose from three unique finishes, each with a different texture and vibe. Pantone Shadow gives a soft, leather-like feel. Pantone Dazzling Blue offers a fabric-like nylon texture, while Pantone Sparkling Grape has a gritty, sandpaper-style back panel.

Performance and Battery

Inside, the Moto Edge 60 Pro runs on the efficient 4nm Dimensity 8350 chip, which is quite an upgrade in comparison to last year’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This handset is paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and thanks to RAM Boost, you can stretch that memory further when needed. You will also get the storage option between 256GB and 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage, which makes loading times nearly instant.

Oppo Pad 3 Dimensity 8350

Now, the biggest upgrade is the battery. This phone carries a huge 6,000mAh battery, way bigger than the 4,500mAh one on its previous version. You’ll definitely feel the difference in daily use. Charging is quick too with 90W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging means you’re back to 100% in no time.

Camera and Rest

The main camera remains the same 50MP this year too. Then there’s a 73mm f/2.0 telephoto lens with a 10MP sensor, which offers 3x optical zoom and up to 50x Super Zoom, great for getting in close without moving a step. Up front, it has a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera, which captures sharp and vibrant self-portraits with impressive detail.

Motorola has also packed in its smarter software, and enhanced Moto AI is here to help. Features like Next Move can understand what’s on your screen and suggest useful actions, like saving a recipe, making a playlist, or setting reminders. On the camera side, Motorola’s Photo Enhancement Engine kicks in to reduce noise and improve image clarity. It’s especially good at pulling out detail in tricky lighting. Plus, for better portraits, there’s Pantone Validated SkinTone, which helps skin look natural and true to life.

Samsung’s new One UI 7 Update Schedule is here!

0

Samsung has now rolled out a new One UI 7 update schedule.. The update marks a major step in expanding the app’s availability to users worldwide. This article will discuss everything we know so far about the listings of OneUI 7.0.

One UI 7 Overview

The beta version of One UI 7 began in selected countries, including the United States, South Korea, and Germany, on December 5, 2024. Now, we have the full list of Samsung devices that will receive the One UI 7.0 update, along with the official release date.

Good Lock

Samsung has officially started rolling out its Good Lock customization app globally with the launch of One UI 7, which began on April 7, 2025. The latest version, Good Lock 3.0.11.2, is now available on the Galaxy Store with a file size of around 30 MB. While previously limited to select markets, the app is now expanding worldwide, and users running One UI 7 or even One UI 6.1 can check its availability by searching for “Good Lock” on their local Galaxy Store. Good Lock lets users fully customize their Galaxy devices with a variety of tools, letting you tweak everything from the lock screen and notification panel to gestures, keyboard layout, multitasking features, themes, and sound settings.

Samsung also plans to release developer tips and tricks related to Good Lock in the coming days. Additionally, the app may soon appear on the Google Play Store, making it more accessible to Galaxy users across regions.

New Features in One UI 7

One UI 7 brings new AI-powered features like Writing Assist, which can check spelling, grammar, and tone in real-time. It also helps with auto-formatting notes and summarizing text. Another major addition is Call Transcripts, which automatically transcribes recorded calls in up to 20 languages, eliminating the need for manual note-taking.

Samsung OneUI 7

Security and privacy enhancements include the new Knox Matrix Dashboard, which provides an overview of security settings across Samsung devices. The update also introduces USB connection blocking, preventing unauthorized access when the screen is locked while still allowing charging. Additionally, if the device is in an unfamiliar location, biometric authentication is required before making any security changes.

Design Changes

Samsung has made several visual changes in One UI 7. The native app icons have been redesigned with more vibrant colors. The app drawer now supports vertical scrolling, making navigation more intuitive. The Notifications and Quick Panel have been separated into two distinct screens. Swiping down anywhere on the screen brings up the Notifications panel, while swiping from the top right corner opens the Quick Panel. Notifications are now pill-shaped and larger for better readability.

The update also introduces the Now Bar, a dynamic UI element that changes based on user activity. It provides quick access to playback controls, call options, and Samsung Health tracking. Tapping on the Now Bar expands it, displaying relevant controls at the bottom of the screen, including on the lock screen.

Gaming in One UI 7

Samsung has introduced new settings in Game Booster to improve gaming performance. Gaming Motion Smoothness allows users to switch between 120Hz and 60Hz modes for a more controlled experience. This feature works with games that do not have built-in refresh rate settings.

Another addition is the ability to set individual frame rates for specific games. The previous 48Hz refresh rate limiter has been replaced with more granular options, allowing users to cap frame rates at 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60Hz. These settings can be accessed through the Game Launcher app under the Game Booster menu.

  • We have covered all the additional features in detail here.
