Design and Build 

HP Omen 16 (2024) comes with a 16.1-inch display. It’s an IPS LCD panel with FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The laptop can reach 300 nits of peak brightness, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and can achieve a 7ms response time. The screen is a micro-edge, anti-glare finish with low blue light emission. Unfortunately, unlike its 4050 and 4070 siblings, this 4060 version only gets a 45% NTSC screen instead of a 100% sRGB one, which might result in slightly duller colors!

All this is housed inside a new form factor that tries to mimic the more premium Omen series. As you would expect, it is made of plastic. HP Omen 16 (2024) measures 23.90mm in thickness and weighs around 2.32 kg.
