Design, Display

Lenovo Legion Slim 7 (2021) brings an aluminum-magnesium chassis measuring 0.74 inches in thickness. Moreover, the laptop weighs around 1.9 kg which is not much for a gaming laptop. Lenovo has even dropped the Legion logo from the center of the aluminum instead. Instead, the laptop has a couple of subtle branding at the top left and bottom right.

Lenovo offers the laptop in two display variants. The one that you are most likely to stumble upon is the 15.6-inch FHD LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of brightness, 100% sRGB coverage, and Dolby Vision.

Lenovo Legion Slim 7 (2021) even has an option for a UHD panel, but it is not quite for gamers as the refresh rate caps at 60Hz. That being said, it boasts 100% Adobe RGB space and VESA HDR 400 certification. Thus, it is a better option for content creators.

Performance

Under the hood, Lenovo Legion Slim 7 brings a gaming combination of AMD’s Ryzen 5000H series CPUs and NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series GPUs. You can choose between Ryzen 5 5600H (6C/12T), Ryzen 7 5800H (8C/16T), and Ryzen 9 5900HX (8C/16T), respectively.

In terms of graphics, you can choose between RTX 3050 Ti (90W) and RTX 3060 (100W). The latter has 6GB GDDR6 VRAM, while the former settles with just 4GB of VRAM.

With its 71Whr battery, Lenovo claims that the Legion Slim 7 (2021) will offer up to 8 hours of battery endurance. The laptop ships with either a 170W or a 230W 3-tip power adapter.
