Lenovo’s Legion Slim 7i is a sleek machine despite being a gaming-centric laptop. The wide 16″ display and capable CPU/GPU combo are all packed in under 2.3 kgs. The all-aluminum chassis gives it a premium feel which is complemented by its impressive 165Hz display with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution. The display supports Dolby Vision and can reach 500 nits of brightness. Thus, a suitable display for gamers as well as for consuming media.

Performance and Memory

Lenovo Legion Slim 7i 2022 packs a 12th gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor paired with an RTX 3060 that can breeze through most games and software at medium-high settings. Though Lenovo has limited its TGP to only a 100W to make it work in a slimmer format, this laptop can still plow down graphics-intensive tasks provided that you keep your expectations in check.

This is paired with 16GB of fast DDR5 RAM which can be upgraded to a maximum of 24GB. You are provided 2 M.2 2280 slots for secondary storage, one of which is preoccupied with a 1TB SSD.

Battery and Connectivity

Lenovo offers the biggest battery in a portable PC you can legally travel with. The 99.99 Wh battery is good enough for getting some work done(11.3 hours of local 1080p video playback), but we definitely suggest plugging it in while gaming or doing intensive tasks.
