Samsung has made little to no change to the design of the Galaxy A73 5G. It sports a 6.7" Super AMOLED Plus panel with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There is an optical fingerprint scanner underneath the sAMOLED+ panel for biometrics. The phone measures 7.6mm in thickness and weighs around 181 grams.

Performance

Moving on, the Galaxy A73 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G chipset. It brings some significant performance boost over the 720G in the A72. Built on a 6nm process, Snapdragon 778G brings Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores in a 1+3+4 configuration. On the software front, Samsung Galaxy A73 5G ships with Android 12 with One UI 4.1 out of the box. It will receive 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patches further down the line.

Cameras, Others

Camera-wise, Galaxy A73 5G flaunts a quad-camera setup, enclosed by a rectangular camera bump. Leading the lineup is Samsung's 108MP primary camera. It even has support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steadier photos and videos. Accompanying it is a 12MP ultrawide, 5 MP macro, and a 5 MP depth camera. There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The phone even has stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support. However, it misses out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides this, Samsung Galaxy A73 5G enjoys an IP67 dust and water resistance, making it water and dust-resistant. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. However, you will have to buy the adapter separately as Samsung doesn't include any accessories in the box.
