So, there we have it folks, the top of the line Blade 18 has hit the market with a mind-bogglingly fast screen, new Intel processors, and the RTX 5090. There’s a lot more to love about this Razer Blade so let’s get right into the features, specifications, and expected price in Nepal of the Razer Blade 18 (2025).
Razer Blade 18 (2025) Overview
Design and Display
Like all Razer Blades, the new Blade 18 is a high-end machine CNC milled from a single block of aluminum. The brand touts it as the “most powerful Razer Blade” ever with new hardware from Intel and NVIDIA packed inside. Although it’s an 18” inch gaming machine, Razer is proud of its slimmest in class chassis that the Blades are loved for! The Blade 18 is available in Black and Mercury color options.
Moving on to the screen, Razer says that the Blade 18 (2025) has the ‘world’s first 18” dual mode display’. It basically lets you switch between UHD (4K) at 240Hz or FHD+ at a whopping 440Hz! What a treat! Besides that, the panel is Calman verified for true to life like color out of the box, has 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut, and supports G-SYNC.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, you can configure the Razer Blade 18 (2025) with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and threads alongside a 5.4 GHz boost clock. Surprisingly, Razer has opted out of offering the top of the line 285HX from Intel’s Arrow Lake HX lineup, but maybe it’s because the two only have a slight difference in maximum frequency which should not affect performance that much!
For the GPU, you have tons of options from NVIDIA’s 40 and 50 series. The latter brings support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Gen that can boost performance up to 4x using AI generated frames. Going all the way will get you the RTX 5090 Mobile with 24GB of VRAM that can ask as much as 175W from the system!
Drawing up to 280W (175W GPU + 105W CPU) can generate some serious heat, so the Blade 18 (2025) is equipped with the biggest vapor chamber in a Razer Blade yet alongside a three-fan setup and improved thermal gel.
Memory wise, you can configure your Blade with up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM on purchase with upgradibility down the road. On the storage front, Razer offers up to a 4TB (2TB + 2TB) configuration but the dual M.2 slots can go up to 8TB in total.
Thunderbolt 5 and Connectivity
The Blade 18 (2025) is one of the very few laptops to support Thunderbolt 5 which brings a big improvement in data bandwidth up to 120Gbps! There’s also another Type-C port (Thunderbolt 4), WiFi 7, HDMI 2.1, and Bluetooth 5.4, alongside a 2.5Gb ethernet port. There are multiple Type-A ports, alongside a UHS-II card reader, and a headphone microphone combo jack.
Bells and Whistles: Everything Else
Getting the newest Blade 18 means you also get special treatment in a lot of other areas like an improved keyboard with better feedback, a total of six speakers, and a high-res 5MP webcam.
