Realme’s GT series always has something going for it, be it the price to performance, or super fast charging, or maybe something else. After shocking realme fans with its ‘world record brightness’ claim, the Chinese company has finally announced the smartphone. In this article, let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE Overview

Display

The Realme GT Neo SE features a BOE-manufactured 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate (0.5 to 120 Hz). But the most intriguing part is the claim of ‘6000’ nits of peak brightness. Of course, this likely refers to a reading for a small area during HDR content but it’s super impressive nonetheless. The current record is held at an impressive ‘5000’ nits by Honor’s Magic 6 Pro followed by the ‘4500’ nits of a couple of BBK’s offerings (OnePlus 12, Find X7 Ultra). The global brightness of 1,600 nits is pretty appealing as well. Moreover, the display also has 2160Hz PWM dimming, up to 2500Hz touch sampling, and a bunch of other bells and whistles.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE display and design

Now, getting into design, the GT Neo 6 SE has a thickness of 8.65mm, 191 gm in weight and is IP65 rated. The phone is available in two striking colors: Liquid Silver Knight and Cangye Hacker. Moreover, it retains the same silver design as the flagship model. With a nano mirror coating, it gets a titanium sky mirror look. Plus, a misty AG process gives it a texture like titanium’s reflection.

Camera

Moving on to optics, you get a 50 MP Sony IMX882 as the main camera and an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide on the rear. Sitting in the hole-punch is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera.

Performance

Just like we mentioned in our Realme GT Neo 6 series coverage, the SE sibling is getting the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. To catch you up to speed, it’s Qualcomm’s latest offering in the premium midrange segment with a similar core architecture to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 — be it with lower clocks and an inferior GPU. And for the first time in a ‘Snapdragon 7’ series chip, you get onboard AI capabilities with the AI engine and NPU. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC is accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Moreover, the GT Neo 6 SE sports a 5,500 mAh cell with support for 100W SUPERVOOC charger.
