Samsung has quietly added a new member to its “M” series of smartphones, following the launch of the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. Still, the new Galaxy M54 appears to be a slightly tweaked version of the Galaxy A54 only. Let’s have a look at the Samsung Galaxy M54 along with its expected price in Nepal, full specifications, availability, and more.

Design and Display
The design of the Galaxy M54 is pretty identical and consistent with what we have seen in this year’s Galaxy lineup of phones. Including the more expensive Galaxy S23 series. But to keep the cost low here, the phone’s back panel and frames are made entirely of plastic, with a metallic design on the camera housing and a glossy finish on the back.
In terms of dimensions, Galaxy M54 is 8.4mm thick and weighs 199 grams. It’s available in Silver and Dark Blue finishes. Moving on, the Galaxy M54 5G has a big 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display with a Full HD resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. It also borrows the “Vision Booster” feature for enhanced brightness outdoors. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 as well.
Performance
Under the hood, Samsung has used the same Exynos 1380 5G (5nm) chip here as the Galaxy A54. It has an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A78 (@2.4 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 (@2.0 GHz). For graphics, there is an integrated Mali-G68 MP5 GPU.
This chipset has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. Samsung ships Galaxy M54 with Android 13-based One UI 5.1. The company has also promised 4 generations of OS and 5 years of security updates for this phone.

Cameras
Moving on, there is a triple camera setup at the back here, led by a 108MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS. It is joined by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor.
For selfies and video calls, we get a 32MP f/2.2 camera housed inside the hole-punch cutout on the screen. You can shoot up to 4K 30 fps videos from both its primary and selfie camera.
Rest of the specs
Being an M-series phone, the Galaxy M54 5G is fueled by a massive battery. A 6000mAh one, to be precise. It supports 25W fast charging but you won’t get the charging brick with the phone itself. In terms of wireless connectivity, there’s dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. For security, Samsung has given a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Although Samsung has officially listed the phone on its Middle East website, there’s no info on pricing just yet. We expect the price of the Samsung Galaxy M54 in Nepal to be NPR 49,999 when it launches here shortly.
