Ultima adds Soundbox S20 and S50 to its speaker lineup

Ultima launched its Marvel Speaker less than two weeks ago, and the company is now adding two new speakers to itslineup. This article will discuss the Ultima Soundbox S20 and S50 in further detail, including their price in Nepal.

Ultima Soundbox S20/S50 Overview

Design

The Ultima Soundbox S20 is the smallest of the two speakers. It is cylindrical in shape, has a mesh texture throughout, and is IPX5-rated. The front has company branding, and the controls are on top. Alongside the controls are two rings to hook a carrying strap, making it highly portable. Furthermore, the Ultima Soundbox S20 features RGB ring lights on both ends.

In the meantime, the Ultima Soundbox S50 is a boombox-style speaker. Given that, this speaker comes with a top handle, that also houses the control buttons. The handle and side portions appear to be plastic, while the central cylinder has a porous appearance. The Ultima Soundbox S50 also features IPX5 water- and dust-resistance and RGB lighting.

Audio and Features

As you may have noticed, both speakers have numbers on their names, which actually highlight their audio output. This means the Ultima Soundbox S20 delivers 20W, while the S50 delivers 50W. Both speakers include built-in microphones, enabling you to receive calls and access voice assistants.

The larger of the two, the Ultima Soundbox S50, supports Bluetooth v5.1, while the S20 uses the newer v5.3. For wired connections, the latter has a single USB-C port that serves as the charging interface. Meanwhile, the Soundbox S50 includes an AUX port for additional connectivity. Both speakers support the TWS pairing feature for stereo sound and take 4.5 hours to fully charge.
