      Vivo T5 Price in Nepal

Vivo expanded its T-series lineup in Mexico with the Vivo T5 4G, a sibling of the Vivo T5 Pro and Vivo T5x, which look very similar to the Vivo Y31d launched in February. It is a mid-range phone that arrives with upgraded software, while the optics, battery, and display tell a different story than those of its predecessor—the Vivo T4. In this article, I will discuss this new midranger from Vivo in detail, including the expected Vivo T5 price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

      Key Highlights

      • 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,250 nits HBM brightness.
      • Powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
      • Features a 50MP dual rear camera setup and an upgraded 32MP selfie camera.
      • Packs a massive 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 44W fast charging and reverse wired charging support.
      • Comes with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD durability certification.

      Vivo T5 4G Overview

      Design and Display

To start, the design of the Vivo T5 has become cleaner than that of the previous-generation phone. This time, it has become slightly thicker and heavier than its predecessor. This might be due to the inclusion of the massive battery, while the plastic body of this phone remains intact.

      Vivo T5 Design

On the back, instead of a circular camera island, it opts for a cleaner look with a dual-lens setup, standard LED flash, pill-shaped flash, and an aurora light arrangement in a square island. Alongside, it has MIL-STD certification and an IP68/IP69 rating against dust and water, so you can easily use this phone in all types of weather without worrying about damage.

      Vivo T5 Display

Up front, the Vivo T5 opts for a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution instead of the AMOLED panel we saw in its predecessor. It is quite disappointing to see these numbers for the mid-range, as its competitors like  Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, Poco X8 Pro, and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus have more to offer. Yet the 120Hz refresh rate is still with us in this very new phone, so we can enjoy smooth scrolling performance.

At the same time, outdoor visibility on this phone also looks fairly good, with a 1250-nit HBM mode that should work well even in direct sunlight. Vivo also said it offers 83% NTSC color coverage, which will let colors pop decently on the screen while watching content.

      Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Vivo T5 uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset built on a 6nm processor, which is a downgrade from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4nm) in the Vivo T4. This is the same processor that we have seen in recently launched phones like the Vivo Y31d and Honor X8d. Based on the performance of those phones, you can expect smooth day-to-day work with this chip, along with smooth gaming on titles like PUBG, MOBA, and Free Fire in low-to-medium graphics settings. However, this phone might struggle with heavier games like Genshin Impact and Warzone Mobile.

      Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2

Memory-wise, this phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Software-wise, this phone features OriginOS 6 on top of Android 16. Although I don't find any software update details on this phone, we can still expect up to 2 years of OS updates and security patches for a lag-free run over time.

      Camera and Battery

Moving to the optics, it pairs the 50MP f/2.0 primary sensor with the 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor to help achieve precise background blur for portraits. However, we can't get the kind of video stabilization and low-light photography that you saw in its predecessor, as this new camera module lacks OIS. Surprisingly, the front of the Vivo T5 has been upgraded to a 32MP f/2.45 sensor, which should deliver decent selfies and a video call experience.

      Vivo T5 Camera

While the battery capacity is slightly smaller than its predecessor, the 7200mAh Li-Ion silicon-carbon cell remains one of the largest in this segment. Vivo said that this phone supports 44W wired and reverse wired charging. Alongside this, they claim you get a straight 13.2 hours of gameplay time for MOBA games, which can increase to 68 hours when playing music. Similarly, vivo also said it will take 40 minutes to charge from 1-50%, while with 1% battery, you get up to 41 minutes of call time.
