Vivo just dropped the V60 in Nepal, and they’re clearly going after the premium mid-range crowd. You’re getting a semi-flagship-level camera specs, a massive battery, and that signature Vivo design language. This article will discuss everything about the latest Vivo V60, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Vivo V60 Overview

Display and design

Starting with the display, the Vivo V60 packs a 6.77-inch AMOLED display. We’re talking 1.5K resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and some seriously bright peak brightness at 1,500 nits. Or even 5,000 nits for HDR content.

Its build quality looks solid too. The V60 has IP68/69 dust/water resistance and Schott Xensation protection instead of the usual Gorilla Glass for the display. At 7.5mm thick and around 201 gm, depending on the color option, Vivo’s latest midrange phone is reasonably slim as well.

Performance and software

At its core is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chip built on a 4nm process. Performance should be decent for most tasks, but this processor admittedly doesn’t have a massive performance gain over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the Vivo V50 (review).

Memory options go from 8GB+128GB all the way up to 16GB+512GB, which is pretty generous. And I know its UFS 2.2 storage isn’t the fastest around, but it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker in any way.

As for the software, the Vivo V60 boots on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box, with 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates to its name.

Camera system

Vivo has once again partnered with Zeiss for its “V” series of midrange phones. This one has a triple camera setup, which includes a 50MP IMX766 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Vivo V60 - Color options

And while I absolutely love the telephoto upgrade, the downgrade from a 50MP ultrawide sensor on its predecessor definitely stings. Whereas the Vivo V60 has a 50MP front camera as always, with autofocus support for sharp selfies.

Battery and charging

The V60’s 6,500 mAh battery is even more impressive when you realize just how thin this phone is. This was only possible with a high-density silicon-carbon battery, of course, which we’re seeing on a lot of Chinese phones these days. It also fills up quickly with 90W FlashCharge, while the Vivo V60 supports bypass charging too.
