Siri Remote
There are no significant changes made to this year’s Siri Remote for Apple TV 4K (2022), except for the charging port. It now charges via USB-C instead of the lightning port. The remote uses Bluetooth 5.0 and IR transmission for connectivity. It even includes a microphone and a dedicated button for Siri.
With the tvOS 16, Apple is planning on introducing easier voice control interaction. For example, AirPods owners can simply say “Hey Siri” to control the Apple TV 4K hands-free. Siri will recognize the voice of the user and customize the results accordingly for easier access to the content.
