And the 2023 edition of the Vivobook 14X has arrived in Nepal as well, with both Intel and AMD options. Design and Display
The Vivobook 14X 2023 model bears the typical Asus design with a fairly clean look overall. Its metallic lid takes cues from the OLED model with the unique CNC-embossed Asus logo. However, as a cheaper model, this ultrabook has a plastic build.
As for the display, you get an anti-glare 14-inch IPS LCD panel with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. This 16:10 screen bears a 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of peak brightness, and a 45% NTSC color gamut. Other variants of the laptop include a 2.5K 144Hz IPS screen or a 2.8K 90Hz OLED with higher brightness levels and better color coverage.
Performance
Under the hood, the Vivobook 14X 2023 comes in three CPU options in Nepal right now: either AMD Ryzen 7 7730U, Intel Core i7-13700H, or Intel Core i9-13900H.
The Ryzen is an octa-core CPU with a 15W TDP and a turbo clock speed of 4.5GHz. While the Intel CPUs feature 14 Cores (8E + 6P) and 20 Threads. The i9 has higher clock speeds up to 5.4GHz while the Core i7 reaches 5.0 GHz.
On the graphics front, you get integrated GPUS: Radeon on the AMD side, and Iris Xe on the Intel front.
Here in Nepal, the AMD model comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage whereas the Intel variants gets double the RAM and the i9 model comes with a Terabyte of storage.

Getting to I/O, you get one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A (only on AMD model), one HDMI, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, and a DC port. Likewise, the Intel model also enjoys WiFi 6E support compared to WiFi 5 on the AMD variant but do note that it’s a single stream setup with 1*1 transmit/receive antennas.
