Ayaneo has been releasing a bunch of handheld consoles lately. Within this year, the company has released three gaming consoles back-to-back. Now, the company is adding the fourth one to its portfolio, Ayaneo Slide. So let’s slide into what this new Ayaneo Slide has to offer with its specifications and expected price in Nepal.
Ayaneo Slide Overview:
Design is the most prominent part of the Ayaneo Slide. It is clear from the name that the device has something to do with sliding. And yes, gliding the screen reveals a QWERTY keyboard from beneath with RGB lighting, setting the device apart from other handhelds.
On the other hand (I mean both hands), there is the master controller with a rubbery direction pad, ABXY buttons, multiple joysticks, and shoulder triggers for the index finger. While pressing the triggers or moving the joysticks, the incorporated hall effect (linear for the triggers) helps the controls to be more precise and ensures a longer lifespan.

In terms of the display, the Ayaneo Slide features a 6-inch IPS panel with a rich 1080p resolution. The screen has a pixel density of 365 PPI and can reach 400 nits of brightness. Moreover, the device promises to cover 100% sRGB as well as 85% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The key USP of this handheld console is its ability to tilt the screen with the angles sitting right between 10° and 30°. Which will make gaming, a bit more enjoyable!
Under the hood, this handheld console handles all the tasks using the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor with a TDP of 28W. Other than that, the device supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X dual-channel RAM and an M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slot supporting up to 4TB of storage. Likewise, booting the console is Windows 11 OS.
To keep the thermals in check, Ayaneo Slide boasts three copper pipes along with two thermal copper sheets, which are said to dissipate heat over an area of 20304 mm2. Claims from Ayaneo suggest that the Slide when utilizing the full 28W TDP, reached a temperature of 61°C. With a limited 15W TDP, though, it can maintain around 46°C.
