Honor Pad X8 hit the market back in September 2022 and almost a year later, we now have its successor as well. The new Honor Pad X9 brings some nice upgrades such as a 120Hz display and a bigger battery. Let’s learn more about the specs, features, availability, and expected price of the Honor Pad X9 in Nepal.

Design and Display

Kicking off with the design, the Honor Pad X9 tries to refresh the bland looks of the X8. The rear side is pretty much the same but it flaunts a new camera module this time. With a metal body design, this tablet weighs 499 grams and measures 6.9mm thick. As for the color options, it’s available in a single “Space Gray” finish only.

Getting to the front, you are greeted with an 11.5-inch LCD panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2K resolution, and 100% sRGB color coverage. Apart from the bigger display size and a sharper resolution, Honor Pad X9 also brings a faster 120Hz refresh rate compared to the standard 60Hz on its predecessor.

Performance

Handling the performance on this tablet is a Snapdragon 685 chip (6nm). Its octa-core CPU consists of four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.9 GHz. As for memory options, it’s only available in a 4/128GB trim right now. The Honor Pad X9 runs on MagicOS 7.1 built on top of Android 13.

For optics, Honor has used a 5MP f/2.2 camera on the front as well as the back. Unlike the Honor Pad X8, this tab comes with a 6-speaker setup for a more immersive audio experience. Likewise, it is fueled by a larger 7,250mAh battery as well. Honor Pad X9 doesn’t have cellular connectivity so it relies on WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity. You can also share the screen of select Honor phones on this tablet.
