A few months after the launch of the IdeaPad 5, we now have the Pro model in Nepal. As the name suggests, the IdeaPad 5 Pro brings some upgrades over the vanilla model—most notably in the display and GPU departments. So, let’s get into the specifications, features, price, and availability of the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro in Nepal.
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro (2022) Overview:
Design and Display
A major selling point of the IdeaPad 5 Pro (2022) is its display. The 16-inch QHD display is a major change from the FHD panels you get in the regular IdeaPad 5. It boasts 350 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB coverage. Moreover, the 16:10 aspect ratio gives extra space for vertical scrolling.
Lenovo even offers 120Hz models with and without G-Sync, but they go for higher prices and are harder to find. Likewise, if you go with the portable IdeaPad 5 Pro 14, you can choose between 2.2K and 90Hz 2.8K screens. There is even a multi-touch option under the former.
The IdeaPad 5 Pro’s body is entirely made of aluminum. It adds a level of sturdiness and premiumness not found in cheaper IdeaPad notebooks. The 1080p webcam is housed in a protrusion on the top bezel. For Windows Hello authentication, it is accompanied by an IR and a ToF sensor.

Performance and Memory
Whether you like Intel or AMD, Lenovo has you covered. The IdeaPad 5 Pro comes with Ryzen 6000-series Creator Edition processors, namely Ryzen 6600HS and Ryzen 6800HS. The two bring Radeon 660M and 680M iGPUs, respectively. Furthermore, they are configurable with up to GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.
Lenovo also sells Intel models under the IdeaPad 5i Pro name. You can select between the Core i5-1200H and Core i7-12700H processors. They are outfitted with discrete Intel Arc A370M graphics. Surprisingly, the 14-inch model includes NVIDIA discrete GPUs and 12th Gen P-series mobile processors.
Rest of the Specs
When it comes to ports, you get three USB ports, one of which is a Type-C interface. The Intel versions also support Thunderbolt 4, which their Ryzen counterparts do not. Regardless of the processor, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14 has an additional USB Type-C port. It is also available in 16″ models with built-in graphics.
Aside from that, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro features a 56.5/75Wh battery with Rapid Charge Express, a backlit keyboard, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.
