Nothing entered the smartphone arena last year with Nothing phone (1). Besides everything else, the midrange phone’s unique Glyph interface was the star of the show. And now, Nothing has confirmed that the upcoming phone (2) will use a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 series chip instead.

Nothing phone (2) Rumors:

At MWC 2023, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 series SoC in the Qualcomm booth. He has already hinted earlier that the phone (2) would be a “premium” device unlike the phone (1). Besides this, the phone will also have a much stronger focus on software.

Besides this, there’s no other concrete info on the phone (2) right now. If the rumors are anything to go by though, it will have the same 120Hz AMOLED display as its predecessor. But with an advanced adaptive refresh rate using LTPO technology. The phone could be powered by a 5000mAh battery, but the charging speed is currently unknown.
