While official details from OPPO are still scarce, exclusive renders and key specs have surfaced, giving us a clear look at what’s to come. The Reno 14 Pro promises to refine the design of its predecessor while packing some exciting new features, including a revamped camera module and a unique “Magic Cube” button.

A new look

The Reno 14 Pro maintains a similar look to the Reno 13 Pro but introduces a streamlined camera module. The new design features two vertically separated camera modules: one for a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and the other for a 50MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom.

The Reno 14 Pro also switches from a quad-curved screen to a flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. So, more than anything, its flat display should make your gaming experience much more enjoyable.

The rest of the design, including the glass back and metal frame, remains essentially unchanged, maintaining that premium feel we expect from OPPO’s Reno series.

Magic Cube button

One of the more possible additions to the Reno 14 Pro is the “Magic Cube” button on the left side of the device. It is expected to be similar to Apple’s “Action Button” to add new functionalities to the phone. However, its exact role is still unknown.

We have seen an alert slider on some recent OPPO flagships like the Find X7 Ultra (review) and the Find X8 Pro. But it seems the company is ready to ditch it for the new Magic Cube button going forward. We also expect this button to show up on upcoming OPPO phones like the Find X8s, Find X8s Plus, and the Find X8 Ultra.

IP68 + IP69 rating

The Reno 14 Pro will also have an IP68 and IP69 rating, ensuring it is dustproof and water resistant. This makes it a durable choice for users who need their device to withstand tough conditions.

On the software side, the Reno 14 Pro will run on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. OPPO has also made a notable software change by replacing Google’s Dialer with its own “ODialer”. This will likely offer a more integrated OPPO experience for those who prefer the brand’s native apps.

OPPO Reno Pro 14 Launch and Availability
