OnePlus Pad Pro launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

OnePlus launched its original Pad back in May last year. Now the company has added a “Pro” model of the tablet to its portfolio. In this article, we will discuss the newly launched OnePlus Pad Pro, its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and so on.

OnePlus Pad Pro Overview

Design and Display

In terms of design, the latest rendition looks quite similar to its base model. The camera cutouts and all remains unchanged. However, the finishing has changed from a reflective to a more standard flat one, and colour options have also been updated. You can choose the OnePlus Pad Pro in Khaki Green and Space Grey colours.

While the design blueprint appears to be unchanged, the tablet has grown in both its size and screen size. The Pro model of the OnePlus Pad comes with a larger 12.1-inch 3K display. While the panel of choice and refresh rate remain the same, other aspects of the screen have received an upgrade. Like, the pixel density and the maximum touch sampling rate have gone up to 303 PPI and 540Hz respectively. Likewise, the typical brightness and colour accuracy of the display have also improved this time around.

Performance

For performance, the OnePlus Pad Pro packs the latest Qualcomm flagship processor i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is a significant upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, which we saw on the base variant last year. When comparing the two chips, the Qualcomm silicon has a slightly worse GPU, however, on other aspects, it completely blows the MediaTek offering out of the water. For instance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 shows a 95% better score on AnTuTu 10 than the Dimensity 9000.

Other than that, the tablet is available in four different configurations. Those being: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The memory on this thing is an LPDDR5 while the storage is a UFS 3.1 with no option of external expansion. Lastly, the OnePlus Pad Pro boots on ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14.

Camera and the rest

The OnePlus Pad Pro comes with two cameras altogether. The rear camera includes a single 13MP shooter with 4K 30fps video recording capability coupled with EIS support. Meanwhile, on the front, you get an 8MP unit that doubles down as a face scanner as well.

Inside is a large 9,510 mAh battery powering the tablet, which also supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging. Vivo launches its most affordable 5G phone with MediaTek Dimensity 6300

Vivo launched the Y58 5G a few days ago in India. Now, they have launched yet another smartphone. This time it’s the Vivo T3 Lite 5G, the brand’s most affordable 5G smartphone yet. In this article, let’s get into the details of the Vivo T3 Lite 5G, its specifications, price in Nepal, and so on.

Design and Display

The T3 Lite 5G comes in a sleek, and flat design. The device features a dual camera setup on a rectangular island. This island has a reflective finish while the rest of the back panel appears to have more of a matte touch. Meanwhile, the phone also boasts an IP64 rating making it decently durable to dust and water exposure. This phone ships in two colour options: Vibrant Green, and Majestic Black.

As all the laptop series are getting their 2024 updates, the next in line from Asus is the ROG Zephyrus series. This time around the G14 and G16 models are getting the latest processors with a dedicated NPU. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024) is a powerful device that comes in a portable form factor at a maximum of 16.30 mm and 1.50 kg. Another rendition of the base Realme 12 was recently launched, this time with 4G-only cellular support. While this phone misses out on 5G connectivity, it gains in other flagship-esque features. Let’s discuss more on the Realme 12 4G including its expected price in Nepal in this article.

Design and Display

Aesthetically, the Realme 12 4G looks indistinguishable from its 5G counterpart. It comes with a leather back panel with stitching going exactly through the middle. There is also a large camera island in the centre with four cutouts. It also boasts an IP54 rating resisting a fair amount of weather exposure. Meanwhile, it ships in Skyline Silver, and Pioneer Green colourways.

On the front, this phone dons a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, which is a step up from the LCD on the 5G variant of the Realme 12.
