Vivo V60 launched with a 6500mAh battery and 3x telephoto camera

0

Vivo just dropped the V60 in India, and they’re clearly going after the premium mid-range crowd. You’re getting a semi flagship-level camera specs, a massive battery, and that signature Vivo design language. This article will discuss everything about the latest Vivo V60, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Vivo V60 Overview

Display and Design

Vivo V60

The V60 packs a 6.77-inch AMOLED display. We’re talking 1.5K resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and some seriously bright peak brightness at 5000 nits.  Build quality looks solid too – you’re getting IP68/69 water resistance and Schott Xensation protection instead of the usual Gorilla Glass. At 7.5mm thick and around 200g, it’s reasonably slim for what you’re getting inside.

Performance and Software

At its core is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chip built on 4nm process. Performance should be decent for most tasks, but i would expect, it has no significant performance leap over its predecessor.

Memory options go from 8GB+128GB all the way up to 16GB+512GB, which is pretty generous. The UFS 2.2 storage isn’t the fastest around, but it’ll do the job. And hey, they’re promising 4 major Android updates, which is solid support.

Camera System

Vivo partnered with Zeiss again, and you’re getting a triple camera setup. The main 50MP sensor is the Sony IMX766 with OIS, while the telephoto is a 50MP periscope with 3x optical zoom. The ultrawide is just 8MP, which feels a bit underwhelming compared to the other two. Front camera is a hefty 50MP, so selfie lovers should be happy.

Battery and Charging

Here’s where Vivo went all out – 6500mAh battery is massive for a phone this thin. Plus, you’re getting 90W fast charging with bypass charging support, which means you can game while plugged in without heating up the battery.

Vivo V60 Specifications

  • Display: 6.77″ AMOLED, 1080×2392, 120Hz, HDR10+, 5000 nits peak
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4nm)
  • RAM: 8GB/12GB/16GB

CMF Buds 2a launched in Nepal with 42dB ANC

0

CMF just dropped their Buds 2a in Nepal, these could be some seriously good value earbuds. We’re talking 42dB active noise cancellation and 35+ hour battery life for less than seven thousand rupees. This article will discuss everything about the latest CMF Buds 2a, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

CMF Buds 2a Overview

Design and Comfort

CMF Buds 2a design

The Buds 2a go for a lightweight approach — each earbud weighs just 4.28g. The case adds another 42.75g and comes with a lanyard hole, so you can actually attach them to something instead of losing them in your bag. The design mixes matte and glossy finishes, which should help hide fingerprints and scratches better than fully glossy earbuds.

Sound Quality

CMF equipped these with custom 12.4mm dynamic drivers and a biofiber + TPU diaphragm combo. They’ve also got Dirac tuning, which usually means more balanced sound rather than overly bass-heavy output. You get custom EQ options and something called “Ultra Bass Technology” if you want that extra thump in your music.

Battery and Charging

You’re looking at 35.5 hours total with the case and ANC off, or 8 hours from the buds alone. Even with ANC on, you still get 23 hours total. Fast charging is pretty decent too — 10 minutes gets you 2 hours of playback from the buds, or 1.4 hours with the case. The case packs a 460mAh battery while each earbud has 43mAh.

Noise Cancellation and Call Quality

The active noise cancellation hits up to 42dB, which is actually impressive for budget earbuds. Most cheap ANC earbuds struggle to hit even 30dB effectively. There’s also adaptive ANC that adjusts based on your environment, plus transparency mode when you need to hear what’s around you.

For calls, you get 6 microphones total with Clear Voice Technology and Wind Noise Reduction 2.0.

Connectivity and Features

Bluetooth 5.4 with 10-meter range covers the basics, plus you get dual connection support so you can pair with two devices simultaneously. Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair make initial setup easier. The touch controls are pretty standard — double tap for skip/answer, triple tap for back/reject, and tap-and-hold to switch between ANC and transparency modes.

Gaming and Low Latency

If you’re gaming on a Nothing Phone, you get less than 110ms latency in Game Mode. For other devices, expect typical Bluetooth latency, which should be fine for most content.

Huawei Watch D2 launched in Nepal with medical-grade health tracking

Huawei just dropped their Watch D2 in Nepal, and this isn’t your typical smartwatch. The main selling point here is continuous 24/7 blood pressure monitoring, which goes beyond what most smartwatches offer. This article will discuss everything about the latest Huawei Watch D2, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Huawei Watch D2 Overview

Medical tech on your wrist

Huawei Watch D2

Okay, so the biggest deal here is the ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. This thing can track your blood pressure 24/7 without you doing anything. It’ll give you detailed readings for day, night, and overall averages, plus it works even while you’re sleeping. You can also take manual blood pressure readings anytime you want, straight from your wrist.

Design and Display

The Watch D2 measures 48 × 38 × 13.3mm with what Huawei calls an “ultra-narrow” 26.5mm mechanical airbag. It’s surprisingly slim for something packing this much health tech. You get two color options — Black and Gold — plus your choice of a sporty black fluoroelastomer strap or a classier white composite leather one. The 1.82-inch AMOLED display hits 480 × 408 resolution with 347 PPI and can pump out 1500 nits of brightness.

Health and fitness features

Beyond blood pressure, this watch is loaded with sensors. We’re talking 9-axis IMU, optical heart rate, ECG, ambient light, barometer, temperature, and more. It can monitor up to 9 health indicators at once and display them with a simple tap.

The watch also includes Huawei’s TruSleep monitoring and stress tracking, so you get a pretty complete picture of your overall wellness. IP68 rating means it can handle everyday splashes and dust, but Huawei specifically warns against swimming, hot showers, or anything involving high water pressure. So it’s water-resistant, not waterproof.

Battery Life

Huawei claims up to 6 days of typical use, but if you’re actually using that continuous blood pressure monitoring feature, you’re looking at about 1 day of battery life. That’s a pretty significant trade-off for the medical-grade monitoring. Regular wireless charging is supported, so at least topping up is straightforward.

Smart Features

The watch runs on Bluetooth 5.2 and works with Android 8.0+ and iOS 13.0+ devices. There’s NFC support for contactless payments, though that depends on what services are available in Nepal.

You get a rotating crown, function buttons, built-in speaker, and microphone for calls. Pretty standard smartwatch stuff, but well-implemented.

Apple’s next-gen MacBook Pro could have an OLED display and Dynamic Island

It seems Apple has some big upgrades planned for its 2026 lineup of the MacBook Pro. First, Apple could finally introduce an OLED display for the MacBook Pro. Whereas it seems the notch will be saying goodbye, and be replaced by an iPhone-like Dynamic Island as well.

OLED display for 2026 MacBook Pro

Apple is apparently replacing its current mini LED screen on the MacBook Pro with an advanced OLED panel, which will be both thinner and lighter. This change could potentially feature a higher contrast ratio, more vibrant colors, and better power efficiency.

However, we still need to see whether the OLED MacBook Pros deliver a higher brightness level than the current ones. Especially since the latest M4 MacBook Pro hits an impressive 1,000 nits of full-screen brightness. Or even 1,600 nits for HDR content.

Macbook Pro M4 Price in Nepal
M4 MacBook Pro

And as expected, Samsung Display will be supplying the OLED panels for Apple’s next-gen MacBook Pro. We’ve also seen rumors floating around that mention the MacBook Air getting the OLED upgrade a year later.

Change in design

Other than this, the 2026 MacBook Pro could move from a notch to a Dynamic Island, like on iPhones as well. The notch was a fairly controversial design back in 2021 when we first saw it on the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chip.

But over the years, it seems most people have grown to like it, so it will be interesting to see how the shift to Dynamic Island will be received by the public.

You may also like:

When will we get this?

While we won’t be getting this upgrade in the coming MacBook Pro that will feature the M5 family of chips, these MacBooks will most likely arrive in 2026. Although Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has suggested that the M5 MacBook Pros could be delayed until early 2026. Leaving the OLED MacBook Pros on a 2027 launch schedule.

It seems Nubia is working on its own “iPhone 17 Air”

Based on some fresh new leaks, it seems Nubia is working on a slim and light phone like Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air. But while the iPhone 17 Air will be a flagship phone, it seems Nubia only has midrange aspirations for the Nubia Air.

Nubia Air Rumors:

Design and display

Popular tipster Evan Blass has shared both 3D renders and live images of the Nubia Air. Based on that, we know that it will be available in two colors — “Silver” and “Cream”. We can also see the power button with a red accent, while its triple cameras sit inside a visor-shaped module. Very Pixel-like.

And in terms of the build, the leaked spec sheet reveals that it will be 6.7mm thick and weigh 172 grams. Which is slightly thicker and heavier than the iPhone 17 Air (5.5mm, 145 grams) and also Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge (5.8mm, 163 grams).

Up front, you’re looking at a 6.78-inch OLED display. It’s not confirmed yet, but we believe it will boast a 120Hz refresh rate as well.

Performance and software

Behind the scenes, the Nubia Air will be powered by a Unisoc T8300 chip. It’s a pretty basic budget processor, so we’re not expecting to be blown away by its performance. This will be supported by 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the phone will run on Android 15. With Nubia’s Nebula AIOS on top.

You may also like:

Battery, camera, and other features

The Nubia Air will get its fuel from a standard 5,000mAh battery. And in terms of the cameras, the phone will have a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP, and a 0.08MP auxiliary unit. Whereas you can expect a 20MP selfie unit here.

Other than this, the phone Nubia Air will have 5G connectivity, NFC support, and an optical in-display fingerprint reader.

  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Compass, Gyro, Light, Proximity

Nubia Air Launch Date and Availability

So far, there is no official word on when the Nubia Air will go official. But considering we already have its real-life images, Nubia should be gearing up for its release within the next couple of months. We will be updating this article with all the latest info, so watch out for this space.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series leaks ahead of its launch

Samsung’s getting ready to drop their Galaxy Tab S11 series in Nepal, and word is they’re already running beta tests locally. We’re looking at three tablets this time — the regular S11, the massive S11 Ultra, and a budget-friendly S10 Lite. This article will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series, including specifications, pricing, and availability in Nepal.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Series Overview

Three Tablets, Three Different Audiences

Okay, so Samsung’s playing the segmentation game hard this year. The Tab S11 and S11 Ultra both get gorgeous AMOLED displays, while the S10 Lite makes do with LCD to keep costs down. All three come with S Pen included, which is actually pretty generous considering how much Apple charges for their stylus.

What’s interesting is they’re all powered by MediaTek chips instead of Samsung’s usual Snapdragon or Exynos approach. Well, except the S10 Lite which gets Samsung’s own Exynos 1380.

Display and Design

Galaxy S11 series

The Tab S11 rocks an 11-inch AMOLED at 2560 × 1600 resolution, while the S11 Ultra goes all out with a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED at 2960 × 1848. Both should look absolutely gorgeous with those deep AMOLED blacks. The S10 Lite gets the budget treatment with a 10.9-inch LCD at 2112 × 1320.

All three tablets are surprisingly thin. The S11 and S11 Ultra measure just 5.5mm thick, which is impressive given their battery sizes. The S10 Lite is slightly thicker at 6.6mm but still very portable. Weight varies quite a bit — the S11 weighs 482g, the S10 Lite comes in at 524g, and the Ultra is a hefty 692g.

Performance and Storage

The Tab S11 and S11 Ultra both run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chip — it’s wild seeing Samsung trust MediaTek with their premium tablets. The S10 Lite gets Samsung’s own Exynos 1380, which is more mid-range but still capable.

For RAM and storage, the Tab S11 comes with 12GB RAM and 128GB to 512GB storage options. The S11 Ultra steps things up with 12GB or 16GB RAM and storage going up to 1TB. The S10 Lite keeps things modest with 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Camera

None of these are camera beasts, which makes sense for tablets. The Tab S11 and S11 Ultra both get 13MP rear cameras and 12MP front shooters. Meanwhile, the S10 Lite drops to 8MP rear and 5MP front.

Battery and Audio

The Tab S11 packs an 8,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The S11 Ultra goes massive with 11,600mAh and the same 45W charging. Even the budget S10 Lite gets a solid 8,000mAh battery, though it’s limited to 25W charging.

For audio, both flagship models feature quad speakers for that immersive sound experience. The S10 Lite makes do with dual speakers, but that’s still better than most budget tablets.

Fasto is coming soon to Nepali market and it aims to bringing your goods within 10 min

0

Fasto, as the name implies, is Nepal’s first quick commerce platform, which is set to launch soon. But since it is only in beta mode, we tested its ability and our experience was definitely positive. So, without further ado, let’s dive in this article where i will discuss everything about the upcoming “fasto”, and its availability, features and so on.

Fasto Overview

So as i mentioned earlier, it is Nepal’s first quick commerce platoform. And what do they mean by quick? Well, it promises delivery of products within 10 minutes (Oui! Oui!), but with one exception, this service is not exactly launching all over Nepal, but rather starting in the Kathmandu Valley, at least for now, due to infrastructure limits.

Spectre of Fasto

According to Fasto uses a “dark store” model that is located all around Kathmandu valley. There are 10 such dark stores, whereas, the main warehouse spans over 6,000 square feet filled with thousands of products from various brands. It also has nine smaller stores sized between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet, designed to speed up deliveries.

To find out if Fasto’s claim holds true, we decided to test their app ourselves. We placed an order for beer to see how fast and reliable the service really is.

Our Experience

Unlike other delivery platforms like Foodmandu, Fasto does not call to confirm orders. Their goal is to deliver within 10 minutes, so they simply send the order right away.

Here are the delivery times we experienced:

  • The first order arrived in 14 minutes
  • A delivery to Pulchowk took just under 16 minutes
  • An office delivery was completed in 6 minutes

Considering Kathmandu’s traffic and infrastructure challenges, these times are needless to say, very impressive. And for what they have acheived during this demo phase, is something to be praiseworthy.

Opportunities for Delivery Riders

Fasto’s fast-paced delivery model also benefits delivery riders. As more people look for extra income, this platform offers frequent orders and quicker turnaround times. With its official launch approaching, Fasto is defintely set to change how Kathmandu shops and receives deliveries, raising the bar for quick commerce in Nepal. But to what extent, if this buisiness model shall be a functioning one is left in the air.

Zeblaze Stratos 4 rugged smartwatch arrives in Nepal with a built-in flashlight

Zeblaze Stratos 4 is finally here in Nepal. This rugged smartwatch is clearly aimed at people who spend more time outdoors and need a watch that can survive harsh outdoor conditions. So in this article, we will discuss everything about the Zeblaze Stratos 4, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Zeblaze Stratos 4 Overview

Display and design

Starting with the display, this smartwatch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with 1,000 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass protection.

The Stratos 4 has a pretty sturdy build quality as well. With a mix of stainless steel base and a carbon-coated bezel. Zeblaze also says this watch is 5 ATM and IP69K rated against dust and water damage, while it even has a built-in LED flashlight.

That’s something you typically only find on much more expensive Garmin smartwatches. Like the Garmin Fenix 8 series.

zeblaze stratos 4

For outdoors navigation, it supports 6 satellite positioning systems: GPS, Glonass, Galileo, NavIC, QZSS, and BDS. Plus, there’s a built-in compass, barometer, and track-back feature. Basically, if you get lost, it could help you find your way back.

Health and fitness tracking

As for fitness tracking, the Zeblaze Stratos 4 can log more than 170 sports modes. It can also automatically recognize a handful of workouts — and if you’re a swimming enthusiast — you’ll be happy to know that the Stratos 4 supports both open water and pool swimming.

It can also keep an eye on your heart rate, SpO2, stress, and even your sleep stages.

Battery and durability

The Stratos 4’s battery life depends on how you use it. The company says it can go up to 60 days under most basic modes or about 18 days when you’re somewhere with freezing temperatures (up to -40°C) and have disabled GPS.

Zeblaze Stratos 4 - Built-in LED flashlight

Even with continuous GPS on, the Stratos 4 can last up to 21 hours. And you don’t need to worry about the watch dying in such extreme weather conditions either, since it’s tested to military standards. So extreme heat, cold, shocks, humidity, and even saltwater shouldn’t kill it.

Other than this, the Zeblaze Stratos 4 has all the other features you’d expect. Like Bluetooth phone calls, an offline voice assistant, and hundreds of watch faces if you’re into customizing how your watch looks. It pairs with the GloryFitPro app for all the health data and customization stuff, by the way.

Zeblaze Stratos 4 Specifications:

  • Display: 1.43-inch AMOLED, 466 x 466 pixels, 1,000 nits, Corning Gorilla Glass
