Poco has recently launched its C85x 5G in India. It is a budget smartphone featuring a 6300mAh battery and a 120Hz refresh rate display, aimed at budget-conscious users. In this article, let's look at the specs, features, and expected price of the Poco C85x 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

In terms of display, the POCO C85x 5G features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak outdoor brightness of up to 810 nits. Moreover, it offers DC dimming and comes with TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light and flicker-free certification.

Talking of the design, the C85x 5G looks somewhat like the Poco X8 Pro with a vertical camera module and rounded corners. It measures 171.6 x 79.5 x 8.2mm and weighs around 210g. You get an IP52 dust-and-slash resistance rating. Poco ships this phone in three shades: Black, Green, and Gold.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, you get an octa-core Unisoc T8300 processor built on a 6nm process, which is less powerful than the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset found on the Poco C85. It features two Cortex-A78 and six Cortex-A55 cores, clocked at 2.2 GHz and 2 GHz, respectively, and an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. This device has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable to 1TB with a microSD card. On the software front, this device runs on HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16.

Camera and Battery

Getting to the optics, it only offers a basic 32MP rear primary sensor with an unnamed secondary sensor. This setup allows you to record video at 1080p 30 fps and supports HDR images. Likewise, on the front, you also get an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Moreover, the C85x 5G has a battery capacity of 6300mAh, just like the C85 5G. However, there’s a difference in charging speed: the C85x 5G features 15W slow wired charging, whereas the previous model supported 33W fast charging. But on a brighter note, it also provides 7.5W reverse-wired charging.

If this launches here, we expect the POCO C85x 5G price in Nepal to be NRP 19,999 and NRP 21,999 for the 4/64GB and 4/128GB variants, respectively.
