The Realme GT 7 Pro made a big mark in the semi-flagship category. After that, Realme released the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition in China as a more budget-friendly version. Now, they’ve gone even further by launching an even cheaper model that still delivers high-end performance. We’re talking about the newly announced Realme GT 7. Let’s go over its features and expected price in Nepal.
Realme GT 7 Overview
Design and Display
The Realme GT7 is actually smaller and slimmer than the Pro model, coming in at 76mm wide and 8.25mm thick, while the Pro stretches slightly to 76.9mm and 8.6mm. It’s also lighter, weighing just 203g compared to the heavier 223g of the Pro.
Despite this more compact build, Realme didn’t compromise on durability. It still boasts an IP69 rating. For security, they’ve included an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, which is fast and reliable.
At the front, the phone features a 6.8-inch display with a sharp 1,2800-pixel resolution and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. However, unlike the Pro it uses a non-LTPO panel, which might disappoint some users looking for better power efficiency. That said, the display still impresses with up to 6,500 nits of brightness, DC dimming, PWM control, full 10-bit color rendering, and full HDR support.

Performance and Battery
Powering the GT7 is MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400+ chip, built with one powerful Cortex-X925 core at 3.73 GHz, three Cortex-X4s, and four Cortex-A720s. This CPU handles everything from multitasking to gaming with ease, especially when paired with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is equally versatile, where you can choose between 256GB, 512GB, or a massive 1TB of UFS 4.0.
One of the most surprising highlights is the 7,200 mAh battery which is actually bigger than the Pro’s 6,500 mAh unit. That’s a big jump, and it shows. With energy density at 841Wh/L and 100W Super Flash Charge support, this phone charges incredibly fast. You can go from 0% to 5% in just a minute, and you can also expect over 17 hours of video playback on a full charge.
Camera and Rest
When it comes to the camera, the GT7 has a simpler setup than the Pro, but it still holds its own. There’s a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS (compared to the Pro’s IMX906), and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter using an OmniVision OV08D10 (vs. IMX355 on the Pro). These cameras do a solid job in most lighting conditions, although low-light shots might not be their strength.
On the front, you get a 16MP Sony IMX480 selfie shooter. Rear video maxes out at 4K 60fps, and the front records up to 1080p at 60fps.
For connectivity, it features dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and even an IR blaster are all included. Although it skips the headphone jack, the stereo speakers sound rich and clear. Realme also added second-gen bypass charging, which pulls power straight from the wall, helping reduce battery wear. The phone keeps cool thanks to a large vapor chamber, a graphene layer, and a conductive glass fiber back.
