Trying to usurp the likes of Xiaomi and Realme in the budget segment is a difficult job. However, Samsung, with its M-series of devices, certainly presents a tough competition. Just a couple of weeks ago, they had launched the Samsung Galaxy M01. It is a decent entry in the budget-segment. And they are already prepping for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M01s, which is a bigger sibling of the Galaxy M01. Thus, without any delay, let’s look at the specifications and the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy M01s.
Samsung Galaxy M01s Overview
The M01s has already received TUV Rheinland certification, and it confirms that the device has a 3900mAh battery. The listing does not give out any further information about the device. However, its Geekbench listing does reveal some vital pieces of information.
For instance, it confirms that the device will run on MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. And it will be further complemented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The surprising, thing, however, is that it says that the device has Android Pie as its OS. Now, that surely will not be the case for the retail version. And the hope is that similar to the M01, M01s will also run Android 10 out of the box.
Other speculations hint that the M01s will come with a 6.2-inch IPS display with a notch upfront. And the notch, as usual, will house the selfie camera. On the back it has a dual-camera setup, however, the details about it are scarce right now. The device has a plastic build, has a micro-USB port for charging, and does not support fast charging. So all in all an expensive M01 with a slightly bigger screen.
