Design and Display
To begin with, the Vivo Y21 features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen. This is a standard 60Hz panel with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the front. The back of the phone has a glossy finish and a rectangular camera cutout. Furthermore, it measures 8mm thick and weighs 182 grams. Vivo Y21 is available in two color options: Metallic Blue and Diamond Glow.

Moving on, the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. It has Vivo’s second-gen Extended RAM feature that lets you allocate 1GB of internal storage as RAM. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1.

Now, at the back, Vivo Y21 boasts a dual-camera setup led by a 13MP primary lens. This is followed by a 2MP macro camera. Over on the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear camera setup here can record up to 1080p/30fps videos.
