In this article, we’re listing out our picks for the best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal. The mid-range smartphone market is probably the most competitive in many countries including Nepal. While most of us may not be economically able to purchase a flagship device, we’re fortunate enough since the mid-range phones have gotten so good these days.

However, the 25K market is a little bit of an oddball. Spend just a little more and you can choose from some of the best mid-rangers, save up a little and you go home with one of the best budget smartphones. Nevertheless, there are plenty of good options under this category. Let’s look at the best mobile phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal.

Best mobile phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal:

For the best price-to-productivity ratio from a phone under NPR 25000 in Nepal, you should at least expect a Full HD IPS panel or even Super AMOLED ones on Samsung, Xiaomi phones. Similarly, the latest Snapdragon 600 series or Mediatek’s Helio/Dimensity lineup of chipsets should yield respectable performance on these phones.

Furthermore, if you install a lot of games and click a lot of photos, 128GB storage should be a bare minimum. For battery, 5000mAh or more will usually deliver excellent endurance. However, try to get one with fast charging support and a Type C port. With that out of the way, let’s check out the best phones under NPR 25000 you can buy in Nepal.

6. Infinix Note 8i

Infinix Note 8i - Blue Best phones under 25000 in nepal

Kicking off our list is the Infinix Note 8i. The phone features a pretty decent spec sheet and delivers some great performance as well. Here, the Note 8i is powered by MediaTek’s gaming-focused Helio G80 SoC which can be found in cheaper phones like the POCO M2 and Redmi 9 (Prime).

This has been paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. Coming to the front, Infinix has included a big 6.78-inch screen. So, the content consumption experience on this phone should be bliss. To further elevate its appeal, the minimal punch-hole cutout is a great addition.

Well, a big screen with little-to-no bezels is always good but like most other Infinix phones in Nepal, this one doesn’t have a sharper FHD resolution so that is a major bummer here. Let’s move to the cameras now. It has a gimmicky quad-cam setup.

Note 8i features a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth camera, and an AI lens. The punch-hole cutout on the top-left center of the screen houses the 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is fueled by a massive 5200mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C connection.

Infinix Note 8i Specifications:

  • Display: 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen, HD+ (1640×720 pixels)
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G80 (12nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: XOS 7.1 on top of Android 10
  • Rear Camera: Quad (48MP primary, 2MP depth, 2MP macro, AI lens)
  • Front Camera: 8MP lens (punch-hole)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / AGPS, USB Type-C, 4G LTE
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass

5. POCO M3 Pro 5G

POCO M3 Pro 5G - Cool Blue Best phones under 25000 in nepal

The 5th spot in our list of best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal goes to the recently launched POCO M3 Pro 5G. As the name suggests, this is a 5G-ready phone. Furthermore, it is also the cheapest 5G phone you could buy in Nepal right now.

With NTA making way for 5G trials in the country, if you’re looking for a future-proof 5G phone, the POCO M3 Pro is the most affordable way to do so. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s cheapest 5G capable chipset—the Dimensity 700. The phone is available in either 4 or 6GB of RAM with up to 128GB internal storage.

But right now, POCO Nepal has only brought the 4/64GB variant of the phone. Upfront, the M3 Pro has a 6.5″ FHD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the company has settled for an IPS LCD panel instead of AMOLED here. Compared to similarly-priced phones like the Redmi Note 10S, this screen doesn’t look as saturated.

M3 Pro is not a reliable camera phone either. With its triple-camera setup that lacks an ultrawide lens, the photos look lacking in detail, sharpness, and dynamic range compared to the Note 10S. Getting to the battery, its 5000mAh cell does give a day’s worth of endurance with ease.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Specifications:

  • Display: 6.5-inch 90Hz IPS LCD screen, FHD+, Gorilla Glass 3
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G (7nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: MIUI 12 on top of Android 10
  • Rear Camera: Triple (48MP primary, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 8MP lens (punch-hole)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / AGPS / Glonass / Beidou, USB Type-C, 5G
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Electronic Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, IR Blaster
  • Battery: 5000mAh with 18W fast charging
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 23,999 (6/128GB)

4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10

Redmi Note 10 - Aqua Green best phones under 25000 in Nepal

Getting to the fourth entry in our list of best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal, taking the bronze medal is the Redmi Note 10. While every past entry in Xiaomi’s ultra-popular Redmi Note lineup came with an LCD screen, the company has changed things this time.

All devices in the Redmi Note 10 series feature a vibrant AMOLED panel. Here, this phone also incorporates a new design language called “Evol.” Thanks to the Evol. design, Redmi Note 10 is quite lightweight and has an ergonomic build quality. Moreover, it is IP53 dust/water resistant too. It also embodies a new rear-camera layout that looks pretty modern.

As I mentioned earlier, it has an AMOLED display—a 6.43″ FHD screen, to be precise. The company has shifted the circular punch-hole to the center on the Note 10. On the performance side of things, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 678 which has been complemented by 4/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Its camera arrangement consists of a 48MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro shooter. Getting to the battery, Redmi Note 10 has a big 5000mAh cell that will easily last you through your day. Xiaomi throws in a 33W fast charger inside the box as well.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen, FHD+, Gorilla Glass 3
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 (11nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: MIUI 12 on top of Android 11
  • Rear Camera: Quad (48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 13MP lens (punch-hole)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / AGPS / Glonass / Galileo / BDS, USB Type-C

3. Samsung Galaxy M32

Samsung Galaxy M32 Black

Taking the bronze medal in our list of best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal goes to the Samsung Galaxy M32. Powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset, this is most definitely not the most powerful phone you could buy in this price range. Despite this, M32 is a pretty well-balanced device overall.

The biggest selling point of Galaxy M32 has to be its massive 6000mAh battery. Even with 90Hz mode turned on, you can get up to 2 days of battery life. So, if you’re looking for a dependable everyday phone, this is a great choice. Yet, while M32 does support 25W fast charging, Samsung only ships a 15W power adapter inside the box.

Anyway, it also features a vibrant 6.4″ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. But since it’s powered by Helio G80, the 90Hz implementation here isn’t the smoothest among all the other phones we’ve tested so far.

Additionally, Galaxy M32 hosts a capable 64MP quad-camera array at the back. Photos turn out vibrant, have a good dynamic range, and retain plenty of details. And this extends to the 20MP selfie camera too.

Samsung Galaxy M32 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 90Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G80 (12nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: One UI Core 3.1 on top of Android 11
  • Rear Camera: Quad (64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 20MP lens (notch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual-band), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / AGPS / Glonass / Galileo / Beidou, USB Type-C, 4G LTE
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic, RGB Light, Virtual Proximity
  • Battery: 6000mAh with 25W fast charging
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 24,999 (4/64GB)

2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S

Redmi Note 10S - Pebble White

Similarly, the silver medal in our list of best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal goes to the new Redmi Note 10S. As the name implies, it’s quite similar to the standard Note 10 above. The main difference here lies in the performance department as this one boasts a relatively more powerful Helio G95 chipset.

So, if you’re looking for the most capable phone under 25K in Nepal, this is it. Likewise, Redmi Note 10S introduces a superior 64MP primary camera at the back instead of the 48MP sensor on the Note 10.

Despite this, the photos from this phone don’t quite compare to the number one entry in this list. Other highlights of the Note 10S include a vibrant 6.43″ 60Hz AMOLED panel and a decent 5000mAh battery.

While Xiaomi initially launched this phone at a starting price of Rs. 24,999, it recently hiked the price by Rs. 1,000 on both the 6/64GB and 6/128GB variant. Yet, if you want the best performance among all these phones, we still recommend you cash in a little more for the Redmi Note 10S.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Specifications:

  • Display: 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, Gorilla Glass 3
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G95 (12nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11
  • Rear Camera: Quad (64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 13MP lens (punch-hole)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / Glonass / Beidou, USB Type-C
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Proximity, E-compass, Gyro, 360 Ambient Light
  • Battery: 5000mAh with 33W fast charging
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 25,999 (6/64GB)*

1. Samsung Galaxy F22

Samsung Galaxy F22 Denim Blue

Finally, taking the top spot in our list of best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal is the Samsung Galaxy F22. While being similar to the M32 in most aspects, we believe this phone delivers the best value for money. Samsung has made some meaningful compromises here to deliver incredible value.

The most significant of those sacrifices has to be the HD display. That makes Galaxy F22 the only phone in this list to skip a Full HD panel. However, the Helio G80 powering the device hands 90Hz smoothness incredibly well under HD resolution. We found the colors, contrast, and touch responsiveness to be quite optimized on this Super AMOLED panel too.

On top of this, Samsung is offering Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. That being said, F22 is not the most powerful phone you can get under NPR 25,000 in Nepal. For that, the Redmi Note 10S stays unchallenged. But the Galaxy F22 outshines the competition with its reliable cameras, excellent battery endurance, and the optimized One UI.

Samsung Galaxy F22 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, HD+, 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G80 (12nm Mobile Platform)
  • Memory: 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: One UI Core 3.1 on top of Android 11
  • Rear Camera: Quad (48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 13MP lens (notch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (side-mounted)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual-band), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / AGPS / Glonass / Galileo / Beidou, USB Type-C, 4G LTE
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic, Virtual Light, Virtual Proximity
