Realme has just launched the successor to last year’s 10 Pro in Nepal. The new Realme 11 Pro is the middle ground in the newly announced number series, which also consists of the vanilla 11 and more premium Pro Plus model. So, let’s get into the specs, features, official price, and availability of the Realme 11 Pro in Nepal.

Realme 11 Pro Overview:

Design and Display

There are a lot of things going on for the Realme 11 Pro in the design side of things— especially when compared to last year’s 10 Pro. The new phone has a big circular camera module on the back. Also, the rear panel is designed in collaboration with former Gucci print designer Matteo Menotto. Users get to choose between three color options, of which two feature a vegan leather finish with a woven texture and hand stitching. The Starry Night colorway, on the other hand, has a matte black finish.

Over on the front, you get the same 6.7-inch curved OLED display as the Pro+ model. It is a 10-bit display with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. The screen refreshes at 360Hz and boasts a 360Hz touch sampling rate which can shoot up to 1260Hz for brief sessions during gaming.

Performance and Memory

This time around, Realme has opted for a MediaTek processor to power the 11 Pro. The newly announced Dimensity 7050 replaces the Snapdragon 695 powering the 10 Pro. Since the very chip also powers the 11 Pro+, there is no power disparity in the 11 Pro series. Realme offers the phone in three memory configurations—8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB.

Camera

Realme 11 Pro flaunts a dual camera setup led by a 100MP primary sensor. The company has not specified the exact sensor in use, but it has a 26mm lens with an f/1.75 sensor. It also has Optical Image Stabilization. Accompanying it is a 2MP macro camera. Unfortunately, there is no ultrawide camera. For selfies, the punch-hole cutout on the front encloses a 16MP camera.

Fueling the Realme 11 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The phone ships with Android 13-based Realme UI 4 out of the box. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. For biometrics, you get an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Performance

The Realme GT 6T debuts with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. It is nearly as powerful as the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chip. Only the clock speeds are slightly on the lower side. Design and Audio

The Soundcore Life P3 is a pretty standard-looking earbuds. They come in a stemmed design with an in-ear fit. Meanwhile, the charging case is pebbled-shaped and the buds rest horizontally in it. These earbuds are available in seven different shades in the international market. However, you only get a single — and safe — Black colour option here in Nepal. The buds come with an IPX5 rating as well, offering a decent amount of water resistance.

Beginning with the design, the Note 3i boasts a long stem design with a plastic build all around. For navigation, you get a tactile button on both the right and left buds. Meanwhile, the transparency mode tends to work with a bit of noise suppression, which is common across the Soundcore TWS.

In terms of battery life, Anker claims a solid battery life of up to 9 hours from a single charge which can get up to 36 hours combined with the charging case. And when the fuel runs out, you can quickly charge the thing which will provide you with 2 hours of usage time. To note, the charging case charges via a USB-C port.

Honor launches two new tablets — MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro

Honor recently launched two new foldable — Magic V3 and Magic Vs3, with varying hardware. In a similar fashion, the company launched two flavours of tablets as well — that too on the same day! In this article, we will blitz through both the Honor MagicPad 2 and Pad 9 Pro while also discussing their potential price in Nepal. So, here is what these tablets bring to the table.

Honor MagicPad 2 Overview

Design and Display

The Honor MagicPad 2 is the more premium option of the two and it is pretty evident from their designs too. This tablet is thinner and lighter and also has a more pronounced finish. The circular camera dial with an ovular inner cutout appears kind of weird, but different nonetheless. The Moon White colour option even has marble-like patterns running across it.

The display on the Honor MagicPad 2 is slightly larger too, at 12.3-inches. It is an OLED panel capable of four levels of refresh rate, starting at 60Hz and going all the way to 144Hz. Additionally, you are looking at a 3K display with 1,600 nits of peak brightness and 4,320Hz PWM dimming in here.

Performance and the rest

The performance of the Honor MagicPad 2 is led by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that led the world by storm. This chip can pump out flagship numbers without actually being one. It comes with an architecture similar to Qualcomm’s top offering for 2024 and is the best semi-flagship silicon in the world. Hence, it will surely be appreciated by those looking for absolute power from their tablets.

In terms of configurations, it comes in four: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The optics on this thing include a 13-megapixel shooter and a 9MP one on the front. Similarly, it has a 10,050 mAh cell for power with 66W charging support. Despite being the more premium option, it skips a cellular variant as well. Regardless, you get dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.3 support on the Honor MagicPad 2.

Design and Display

Moving on to the Honor Pad 9 Pro, we get a pretty basic design with it. Though made out of metal, it has a washed-out tone to it. As a result, it doesn’t look all that compelling aesthetically unlike its higher-end compatriots. The plain ovular camera island doesn’t help its case either.

On the front, you are looking at a 12.1-inch display with seven levels of refresh rate from 24Hz to 144Hz. Though it boasts a wider level of screen fluidity, it is an IPS LCD panel. When looking at the Honor Pad 9 Pro as an independent product, the panel choice isn’t bad by any means. However, when comparing it to the Honor MagicPad 2, its screen will lack the rich colour contrast OLED screens offer.

Performance and the rest

The chipset of choice makes the gaping difference between the Honor Pad 9 Pro and the Honor MagicPad 2 very clear. It packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 as its primary driver. Once again, not a bad choice individually, but falls when greatly in comparison to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Though a semi-flagship offering too, it is over two years old at this point. However, it still delivers adequate power to handle demanding tasks just fine.

In the meantime, you get two memory and a single storage option on this thing. It comes with either 8 or 12 gigs of RAM coupled with 256GB storage. The primary shooter on the Honor Pad 9 Pro is a 13MP unit as well, but, the selfie camera has been cut down to 5MP. Its tank is filled with a 10,050 mAh battery and the charging speed is limited to just 35W. It obviously does not have a cellular option and wireless connectivity is delivered via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2.

The company’s latest product under its CMF sub-brand, also saw chart topping success, selling over 100,000 units within just 3 hours of launch. Too good to be true, innit? In this article, we will discuss how well the product is doing on the market.

CMF Phone 1 flies out of shelves!

Launched on July 12, the (CMF) Phone 1 is the first smartphone from Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF. And a quick look at the spec sheet reveals that it is one of the best value propositions in the smartphone market right now which is also reflected in its strong sales achievement.

The company launched this sub brand focusing on a more budget-friendly audience with accessories featuring unique designs. This new device has gathered attention for its eye-catching looks and competitive pricing.

CMF Phone 1 set a new record selling a whopping 100,000 units in just 3 hours. This performance even outpaces the 24 hours it took for the Nothing Phone (2a) to reach that milestone.

Honor launches the Vitality Edition of its Choice Haylou Watch

Honor collaborated with the independent Chinese company Haylou to bring a smartwatch rich in features. That watch arrived near the end of last year in China and made its way to the international market including Nepal a few months later. Now the company has brought a more affordable variant of that watch. In this article, we will look into the Honor Choice Haylou Watch Vitality Edition including its price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The design of this watch is pretty much the same as the regular variant. It comes in a squircle body with a single dial on the right. In the meantime, the dial colours appear to either be black or silver. Meanwhile, you can put on a strap with a colour as per your liking. However, it ships with the neutral Black, and White one in the box.

The Honor Choice Haylou Watch Vitality Edition comes with a 1.95-inch display with decent enough bezel thickness. The panel here is an AMOLED with 550 nits of peak brightness.
