Razer is one of “those” companies focusing on gamers and power users in general. Given that, this Singaporean company packs their devices with top-of-the-line hardware to offer absolute performance. Similar is the case for their latest set of laptops. This article will explore the Razer Blade 14 (2024), its specifications, price in Nepal, and more.

The Blade 14 is the most portable offering from Razer measuring just 17.99 mm in thickness and weighing just 1.84 kg. Despite its small stature, this laptop does not take any shortcuts in durability. This AMD processor like any other processor this year packs a dedicated AI engine, namely the AMD Ryzen AI. This NPU offers you things like automatic framing, eye contact correction, and advanced background effects when you are on a video call without hindering the overall performance of your laptop.

In the meantime, the graphics here are being handled by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series GPU. The Find X Series from Oppo is about flagship cameras and specs. This time as well, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Find X7 are official with top-notch SoCs and camera setups. Here, we’ll be talking about the vanilla Oppo Find X7, its specs, features, and expected price in Nepal.

To begin with, the Oppo Find X7 shares a visual resemblance to its X7 Ultra sibling. From the circular camera module to the dual-tone design, this vanilla model brings a similar premium vibe. You get an alert slider on the metal frame, plus the device also secures an IP65 rating.

Fire-Boltt, an Indian homegrown brand is gearing up to launch an interesting product under the namesake “Dream”. It is a smartphone in the form factor of a smartwatch. As a matter of fact — the company is marketing this product as a “wristphone”, and rightfully so! Let’s delve into further details of the Fire-Boltt Dream, its specifications, price in Nepal, and so on.

As I have said earlier, the Fire-Boltt Dream is a wristphone. Given that, it comes with all the basic specs of a smartphone but in a smartwatch’s form factor. Therefore, looking at it, it looks like any smartwatch with a screen up front. It features a home button, a speaker, and a crown on the right side. Meanwhile, the SIM tray sits on the left side of the device and the bottom features the sensor base. All of this is packed in an IP67-rated body and comes in 12 different colour-and-band options.

On the front, we are getting a TrueView display that measures 2.02 inches diagonally. The company has not specified what kind of panel it is, it is an IPS LCD panel perhaps. It’s 2024 and Oppo has finally taken the curtain off from the Find X7 Ultra. Designed to be a camera powerhouse, the specs are pretty slick with a 50MP 1-inch main camera, dual 50MP periscope lenses with 3X and 6X optical zooms, and a 50MP ultrawide unit. Without further ado, let’s walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra in Nepal.

Design and Display

Talking of the design, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra goes for a bold look with a two-tone color and a big camera bump on the vegan leather rear side. The middle frame is metal, which houses the power key, volume rockers, and an alert slider. Oppo ships this guy in three shades— Ocean Blue, Sepia Brown, and Tailored Black.

Moving to the front, this flagship device houses a 6.82-inch QHD+ curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology. This ProXDR panel is claimed to enhance the overall dynamic range for HDR content. All about the Camera

Then, you get a dual 50MP periscope lens, for the first time in a smartphone. One is a 65mm Sony IMX890 sensor with a 3X optical zoom while the other one is a 135mm Sony IMX858 with a 6X optical and 120X digital zoom.

Both lenses are optically stabilized too. It is accompanied by a new 50MP Sony LYT-600 ultrawide unit with 123 degrees of FoV. With this, the Find X Ultra is capable of zooming between 14mm and 270mm. Over on the front, there is a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

As a part of the Hasselblad collaboration, it will also get a Master Mode for tuning the images and also enabling RAW shooting for those editing junkies. Oppo has promised a 16-bit RAW MAX mode through a software update in March.

This is in fact not Xreal’s first rodeo when it comes to 6 DoF, as its Nreal Light glasses, announced back in 2021, boast the same. So, in a way, the Air 2 Ultra is a successor to the revered Nreal Light.

Design and Display

Following the norm, the new Air 2 Ultra looks like a typical pair of sunglasses just like the Xreal Air 2 and Air 2 Pro. That’s if you don’t notice its pair of environmental sensors on the front. It’s also a bit heavy for a pair of sunglasses at 80 grams and around 10% heavier than the Air 2. But, the Air 2 Ultra features a titanium frame and looks sleeker and more stylish as well.

Talking about the display, the Air 2 Ultra sees a bit of an upgrade here. Now, you have a wider 52-degree field of view over the 46 degrees on previous models. It also functions a whole lot differently with the 6 DoF and spatial hand tracking we talked about earlier. Besides that though, Air 2 Ultra still has the same Sony Micro-OLED screens at 1080p resolution for each eye. It can reach 120Hz in terms of refresh rate and hits 500 nits of max brightness. They also have TUV Rheinland certification for color accuracy, eye comfort, low blue light, and zero flicker.

Watching content on the Air 2 Ultra should be very similar to looking at a 154-inch screen at a distance of 13 feet.

Other Features

Just like the Air 2 Pro, there is electrochromic dimming for improved immersion. With “Immersion Control”, you can opt between choosing to see the outside world (0%, 35%) or blocking it completely (100%). There are also directional speakers and dual microphones for audio.

One thing to note is that the Xreal Air 2 Ultra isn’t a standalone computer. It needs a separate computing unit to function to its fullest and you can connect the glasses to either Samsung’s S22 and S23 or the iPhone 15 series (via USB C) to use spatial computing. You can also use Nebula in Desktop or Mac to do the same but Xreal’s own Beam unit (computing unit for Air 2 and Air 2 Pro) only allows for 3 DoF. The company has, however, mentioned that it’ll be coming up with a custom computing unit for the Air 2 Ultra soon.

Xreal Air 2 Ultra Pricing and Availability

The glasses will be available starting March 2024. They cost USD 699 and aim to directly compete with the Meta Quest 3 ($499) and the upcoming Apple Vision Pro ($ 3,499). Although unlikely, if it makes it here, we expect the Xreal Air 2 Ultra price in Nepal to be around NPR 99,999.

As per Oukitel, this speaker is louder than an outdoor speaker which can go loud up to 116dB, and even a jet engine with 120dB capacity. Camera

Despite being a rugged device, the WP33 Pro flaunts interesting optics on its back. The primary camera is a 64MP Sony IMX686 1/1.73-inch sensor. AppleCare In Nepal Overview

Although AppleCare is supposed to span a wide range of Apple devices, it only covers Macs in Nepal (as of today). iPhones do come with a free one-year breakage insurance but you can’t purchase the Care or Care+ plan for them.

What is the AppleCare Protection Plan?

Starting off with the basics, AppleCare is an insurance policy that covers repairs or replacement of your Apple device (Apple Watch, HomePod, iPad including Apple Pencil, iPhone, Mac, and iPods) in the event of accidental damage or battery depletion. Moreover, there’s also the added benefit of getting priority access to Apple’s technical support.

What is insured in Apple Care & Apple Care+ Protection Plan?

The AppleCare Protection Plan offered for MacBooks provides a warranty extension of 2 years. This plan does not cover physical or liquid damage but does insure against manufacturing defects and software issues. You might have to pay a small fee though which I’ll talk about later.

Additionally, there is an AppleCare+ option, which not only extends the warranty but also covers physical damage. This plan doesn’t require the fee I talked about earlier. Instead, the minimum service charge is included in AppleCare+. Besides that, it doesn’t cover theft or loss of property.
