Exynos 2500 is finally official, soon to debut with Z Flip7

Samsung has officially confirmed the Exynos 2500 chip, which is now in mass production. While many expected it to appear in the Galaxy S25 series, it turns out that won’t happen. Instead, the chip will debut with the Galaxy Z Flip7 on July 9, 2025. This article will discuss everything about the latest Exynos 2500, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Exynos 2500 Overview

Launch and Availability

Samsung confirmed that the Exynos 2500 will not power the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. Instead, it will make its debut inside the Galaxy Z Flip7. That said, the Flip7 FE variant might still run on the older Exynos 2400 chip.

CPU and Performance

Exynos 2500

The CPU uses Samsung’s 3nm GAA fabrication. It follows a 10-core design split as 1+2+5+2, but marketed as 1+7+2. It includes:

  • 1x Cortex-X925 at 3.3GHz
  • 2x Cortex-A725 at 2.74GHz
  • 5x Cortex-A725 at 2.36GHz
  • 2x Cortex-A520 at 1.8GHz

According to Samsung, the big-core performance is around 15% better than the Exynos 2400.

GPU

This chip includes the new Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s 4th-gen RDNA 3. It comes with 8 Work Group Processors (up from 6) and 8 Render Backends (up from 4). Samsung claims it gives 28% better frame rates in ray tracing-enabled games. That sounds like a decent bump, at least on paper.

AI and NPU

The NPU features 24K MACs in a 2x 12K cluster layout. It delivers up to 59 TOPS, which is a 39% boost over the last-gen chip. That should help with more on-device AI functions. The chip continues to support UFS 4.0 storage. It also uses Fan-Out Wafer-Level Packaging (FOWLP), which helps with thermal control and keeps the chip thinner.

Camera and Video

It supports camera sensors up to 320MP and can shoot 8K at 30fps. There’s also AI-powered image processing and multi-layer noise reduction. For video playback, it can go up to 8K at 60fps, with AV1 decoding supported. The integrated 5G modem follows 3GPP Rel. 17 standards:

  • FR1: Up to 9.6Gbps
  • FR2: Up to 12.1Gbps

The chip also supports satellite messaging (NTN) and comes with local connectivity like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and improved analog GNSS for location accuracy.

Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX10 Gen 10 (2025) launching soon in Nepal

Nagmani International is getting ready to launch its latest gaming laptop, the Legion 5 15IAX10 (Gen 10), in Nepal. It’s got the new Intel Core Ultra series processors and NVIDIA’s RTX 40-series GPUs. Both base and high-end variants bring some solid performance upgrades over previous models. This article will discuss everything about the latest Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX10, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX10 Overview

Intel Core Ultra HX Series Inside

Lenovo Legion 5 15IAX10 Gen 10 design and display

The Legion 5 Gen 10 comes with either the Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX or the Core Ultra 9 275HX. The base one offers 20 cores while the top-end version jumps to 24 cores. You also get higher boost speeds and more cache on the Ultra 9. Both are built to handle heavy multitasking and gaming.

Graphics and Performance

You get two GPU options here: RTX 5060 on the base and RTX 5070 on the high-end variant. Both have 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM and 115W TGP. The RTX 5070 has slightly lower boost clock but more AI TOPS. Honestly, the difference is there but not huge unless you’re doing AI or creative workloads.

Memory and Storage

The base model comes with 24GB DDR5-4800 RAM while the higher one gives you 32GB DDR5-5600. Both offer 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, so not much difference on storage. The RAM is dual-channel in both. It has a 15.1-inch WQXGA OLED panel. Refresh rate hits 165Hz. It supports Dolby Vision and brightness goes up to 500 nits. The display is solid on paper and fits the price point.

Battery and Ports

There’s an 80Wh battery with Super Rapid Charge support. Plus, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. So far, so good. The keyboard is 24-zone RGB backlit. Weight starts from 1.9kg. That’s pretty much what you’d expect for this category.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IAX10 Gen 10 (2025) launching soon in Nepal!

Lenovo is set to introduce the Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 16IAX10 (2025) in the Nepali market. The laptop features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, and support for Dolby Vision and Display HDR True Black 1000. It is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU featuring 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. So, let’s discuss the specs, features, price, and availability of the Legion 5 Pro series 2025 in Nepal.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IAX10 (2025) Series Overview

Design and Display

The new Legion Pro 5 series doesn’t feature a complete re-design of the outer chassis unlike the Legion Pro 7i which has a full-width exhaust at its tail and moves ports to the sides. It’s got a similar look to its predecessor with ports distributed on the sides as well as the back. The Legion is only going to be available in a single ‘Eclipse Black’ color option.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 2025 Design

The display does get a massive upgrade though. For the first time ever, you can equip the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (Gen 10) with an OLED screen. It goes up to a 16” WQXGA screen with up to 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and less than 0.5 ms of response time. The OLED is a super choice for gamers due to its deeper contrast, and ultrafast response times while the high brightness and vibrant colors will make for a gorgeous media experience.

Legion Pro 5 (AMD) and Legion Pro 5i (Intel) Gen 10

As you might have guessed, we see new AMD and Intel processors on the Legion 5 Pros. On the red team, you get up to a Ryzen 9 9955HX but not the X3D version. I suppose Lenovo is saving the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D for its Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 but there are no words on that yet.

On the Intel side, it goes up to the Core Ultra 9 275HX Arrow Lake processor with 24 cores and threads with a boost clock of 5.4 GHz. Here too, Lenovo seems to be skipping out on the top-of-the-line Ultra 9 285HX but it’s a more reasonable choice since the two only differ by slightly different clock speeds.

For running games and graphically demanding applications, the Legion Pros ship with NVIDIA’s 50 series Maxwell GPUs with options up to the RTX 5070 on the Pro 7 and the RTX 5070 Ti on the Pro 7i. The latter has 50% more VRAM and can operate at up to 140W. There’s also Lenovo’s AI engine with its LA1 and LA3 chips that optimize settings in real time to achieve optimal performance. It’s all kept cool by Lenovo’s Coldfront Hyper tech which we saw perform pretty well in the last-gen Pros as well.

Memory and Connectivity

Just like previous generations, there are 2 SO-DIMM slots for your DDR5 sticks but now you can get up to 32GB of fast 6400 RAM. The SSD speed and configurations remain the same though at up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 via the dual M.2 slots in the board. As for the ports, there’s an HDMI 2.1 and power connector at the back, with the dual type-C, triple type-A, ethernet, privacy switch, and audio jack on the sides. This year we also get to see the upgrade to faster WiFi 7 alongside Bluetooth 5.4.

The Legion Pro 5 and Pro 5i (2025) both house 80Wh batteries but the Intel version is fed more power with its 300W brick while the Pro 5 gets a smaller 245W charger. The keyboard gets slight upgrades with slightly more travel (1.6mm vs 1.5mm) and granular RGB control (24-zone vs 4-zone previously).

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IAX10 Gen 10 Specifications

  • Display: 16″ WQXGA (2560×1600) OLED 500nits Glossy, 100% DCI-P3, 165Hz, Display HDR True Black 1000, Dolby Vision, TUV Rheinland (Hardware Solution)

Soundcore is launching the Boom 3i soon in Nepal, a Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor adventures, especially near water. Actually, it stands out because it floats upright on water, which helps keep the sound clear even when it’s bobbing in a pool, lake, or ocean. This article will discuss everything about the latest Soundcore Boom 3i, including its key features, design, specifications, and availability.

Soundcore Boom 3i Overview

Floating Design and Waterproofing

The Boom 3i floats upright on water instead of lying flat like most floating speakers. This means you get consistent, clear sound above the water’s surface. In addition, it carries an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof and dustproof. Plus, it has a saltwater-resistant coating that protects it for up to 240 hours of salt-spray exposure, which is pretty useful for beach or ocean use.

MIT unveils low-cost 3D chip tech that could boost smartphone performance

MIT researchers have come up with a new way to build 3D chips that might change how smartphones and other electronics perform. The new method allows tiny GaN (gallium nitride) transistors to be added directly to regular silicon chips—something that was either too expensive or too complex before. This article will discuss everything about the latest 3D chip integration method, including its expected impact, key details, and potential applications.

3D GaN-on-Silicon Tech Overview

What’s Actually New Here

3D GaN-on-Silicon Tech

Instead of using full GaN wafers, which are costly, the team used small GaN “dielets”—each around 240 by 410 microns in size. These are laser-cut and then placed directly on top of silicon chips. This is done using copper connections instead of gold. That’s a big deal because copper is cheaper, easier to work with, and more conductive.

How It’s Bonded

The transistors are bonded using copper-to-copper contact at temperatures below 400°C. This bonding method doesn’t just cut costs—it also works with today’s standard semiconductor factories. So the process could actually be adopted without needing new equipment.

What They Built

The team tested this with a power amplifier built on Intel’s 22nm FinFET silicon. The result? It gave better signal strength, more bandwidth, and used less power than current chips made only with silicon. That’s promising if it ends up in actual phones.

The Precision Part

Placing something this small on a chip isn’t easy. So, MIT designed a special tool that uses vacuum and precise microscopy to line up each transistor before bonding. Indeed, the level of alignment here is down to nanometers.

Availability and What’s Next

The research was officially presented at the IEEE RFIC Symposium in June 2025, under the title “3D‑Millimeter Wave Integrated Circuit (3D‑mmWIC)…”

Right now, it’s still in the research phase. But since it’s compatible with existing manufacturing systems, the transition to mass production might not be as far off as it seems. If it does go commercial, it could lead to much faster smartphones with longer battery life and better on-device AI.
