Vivo S60 series Price in Nepal

Vivo recently launched two new members of the Vivo S60 lineup—Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality —in China. These are Vivo's flagship phones that come with large batteries but a familiar build. Actually, these two phones have a very similar rear camera island, which we already saw on the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Honor 600 Pro. In this article, I will discuss these two phones in detail, including the expected price of the Vivo S60 series, specifications, and availability.

      Key Highlights

      • Vivo S60 series features a massive 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W fast charging.
      • The standard Vivo S60 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the S60 Vitality uses the Dimensity 7500 chipset.
      • Both phones sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness.
      • A 50MP selfie camera is available on both models, while the standard S60 adds a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
      • The Vivo S60 series comes with IP68/IP69 ratings, OriginOS 16 based on Android16, and up to 512GB of storage.

      Vivo S60 series Overview

      Design and Display

Starting off, both the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality share a similar build and design that deliver a premium aesthetic with rugged, real-world durability, featuring IP68 and IP69 ratings against dust and water exposure. The back of the phone has a rectangular camera panel that looks very similar to those of the iPhone 17 Pro Max (review) and the recently launched Honor 600 Pro

For both phones, you can choose among “Starry Sea”, “Early Summer Green”, and “Midsummer Night” finishes. The only difference you might notice between these phones is that the vivo S60 weighs a bit more—at 207 grams- while the vivo S60 Vitality is 8 grams lighter—at 199 grams.

Up front, these phones have identical 6.59-inch AMOLED panels with 1.5K resolution, delivering crisp, sharp visuals. If you are scrolling social media and playing fast-paced games, then that will also be pretty smooth thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate. They also come with P3 color coverage that adds depth to visuals by reproducing a wider range of colors, alongside 5000-nit peak brightness that makes the HDR content-watching experience more vibrant and visually appealing.

Additionally, if you are concerned about eye fatigue, it features high-frequency 4320Hz PWM anti-flicker dimming and SGS Low Blue Light certification, which reduces harmful blue light emissions from the screen.

      Performance and Software

Under the hood, Vivo S60 uses the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip built on the 4nm processor, while Vivo S60 Vitality uses the mid-range Dimensity 7500 chip. Here, these two phones are targeting two different power tiers.

If you are looking for flagship-level performance with pretty good gaming, then you can go with the standard Vivo S60. If you are looking for a device for everyday tasks and are an entry-level gamer, the Vivo S60 Vitality could be the choice for you.

      Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Memory-wise, the standard S60 comes with 12/16GB of RAM, while the S60 Vitality has 8/12GB of RAM. However, both devices come with up to 512GB of internal storage. In terms of software, both devices run on OriginOS 6 on top of Android 16. And to keep your experience running smoothly over the years, it backs them with a self-developed Blur River Fluidity Engine that vivo claims offers 5 years of continuous smoothness by maintaining it over time.

      Camera

Amongst all the areas, optics is the primary factor that differentiates these phones from each other. Here, S60 comes with a triple-camera setup, whereas S60 Vitality has a dual-camera setup on the back panel.

      Vivo S60 series Camera

In terms of optics, the vivo S60 uses a 50MP f/1.75 Sony LYTIA primary sensor, paired with a 50MP f/2.65 Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera. Here, both the primary and telephoto lenses come with OIS that vivo claims delivers gimbal-level image stabilization. This means you not only get detailed shots in daylight, but also low-light shots are crisp and detailed.

For the vivo S60 Vitality, vivo opts for the same 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor and 8MP ultrawide camera as the standard S60. While both have a color spectrum sensor, you can also record 4K video with both.

Up front, both the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality feature a 50MP f/2.0 shooter that lets you capture sharp, clear selfies. Vivo also claims that this selfie cam can capture decent selfies even in low light.

      Battery and Others

To sum up, both the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality pack a 7200mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 90W Super Flash alongside reverse wired charging. Vivo also claims that this battery can last more than a day in casual use and deliver around 10.2 hours of gaming time.
