The Y54s sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and an HD resolution. There’s no high refresh rate support either and to make matters worse, its predecessor had a Full HD display.

Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also supports virtual RAM expansion by up to 2GB. Y54s boots on Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0. Similarly, the device gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Camera
As for optics, you get a dual-camera setup on the back which includes a 13MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP lens on the aforementioned notch for selfies. To compare, the Y53s hosts a 64MP triple-camera setup at the back.
