Although ZTE has already unveiled the Axon 40 series, it seems the company is not done with the Axon 30 lineup yet. It recently released the Axon 30S, which has similar specifications to the Axon 30 and includes an under-display camera. So let’s get into the specs, features, availability, and expected price of the ZTE Axon 30S in Nepal.

Design, Display
With the front under-display camera, the Axon 30S gives you a full-view screen for content consumption. The hidden camera area has a high pixel density of 400PPI, blending it in with the rest of the screen.
The display measures 6.9-inch and it’s an AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 10-bit color depth. ZTE has also included a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth UI scrolling. The Axon 30S resembles the Axon 30 in terms of design, with a rectangular camera cutout and a glossy back.

Performance
Inside, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is available in two memory configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.
In terms of software, the device ships with Android 12 and the company’s own MyOS custom interface. The phone has a 4,200mAh battery and supports 55W fast charging.
Cameras
The Axon 30S features a quad-camera setup on the back headlined by a 64MP primary camera. Joining it is an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s the previously mentioned under-display lens with 16MP resolution, which works in tandem with software algorithms to produce photos.
Rest of the specs
Biometrics are handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner on the Axon 30S. It has a stereo speaker setup for audio. However, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Similarly, the smartphone is available in two colors: black and blue.
