Redmi silently added a new member to its Note series. Even though it is the successor to Redmi Note 12R, there are barely any meaningful updates. Thus, the latest Redmi phone is more or less the repackaging of the same old thing. Anyway, let’s discuss the Redmi Note 13R further in this article including its price in Nepal.
Redmi Note 13R Overview
Design and Display
As I mentioned earlier, the phone has not changed much from its prior generation. This reigns true in terms of design as well. Given that, the overall outlook of the phone is the same. However, it does receive an updated finishing touch. The company website has two different entries for the Redmi Note 13R. One entry includes three colour options, two of which have a monotone finish and the remaining has wavy patterns. Meanwhile, the other entry comprises an additional three options with a shimmery finish and a distinct black camera island.
On the front, the phone dons a 6.79-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution. You get a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz on the Redmi Note 13R. Similarly, the screen also offers full DC dimming with 2047 dimming levels. Additionally, it also comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 550 nits.
Performance
The Redmi Note 13R does not get any update in terms of the primary processor. This means that this phone still ships with the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 under its helm. Software-wise, the phone thankfully ships with Xiaomi’s HyperOS out of the box instead of MIUI.
In the meantime, it is available in six different configurations divided between the two listings. The available memory and storage combo on this phone are 4GB+128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB.

Moving on to the cameras, the rear camera set remains unchanged with a 50MP primary shooter coupled with a 2MP macro lens. On the other hand, the front-facing camera has been upgraded to an 8MP unit.
The battery on the Redmi Note 13R also gets a slight bump to 5,030 mAh in comparison to 5,000 mAh on the last iteration. Likewise, the charging speed has also been increased from 18W to 33W this time.
