A while ago, Realme launched the GT 7 with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset in China. This smartphone is now set to launch in India on 27th May with a different chipset. It is going to be the first phone ever to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor. In this article, we will discuss the upcoming Realme GT 7, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.
Realme GT 7 Overview:
Performance and Battery
The company has revealed in a press release that the upcoming Realme GT 7 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e (4nm) with a Cortex-X4 prime core. With this, the phone managed to score more than 2.45 million on AnTuTu. Realme says the GT 7 phone will also have a special “GT Boost” mode and can run BGMI smoothly at 120 fps for up to six hours. It’s designed to adjust performance very precisely, giving you smooth gameplay with less power use and better heat control.
The Realme GT 7 is also confirmed to come with a large 7,000mAh battery that includes 10% silicon anode technology. It will support 120W fast charging, allowing it to charge from 1% to 50% in just 15 minutes. The phone will also offer 7.5W reverse charging, so it can be used to charge other devices. A special chip inside the phone is designed to keep it much cooler (up to 95% less heat) and make the battery last up to three times longer.

Design and Display
While all the information regarding the rest of the phone’s specs has yet to be announced, we are assuming it will be the same as its Chinese variant. Which means the base model is slimmer, lighter, and more compact than the Realme GT 7 Pro (review).
On the front, it features a sharp 6.78-inch 144Hz display with 6,000 nits of peak brightness (HDR), though it lacks LTPO tech.
Camera and others
When it comes to the camera, the Realme GT 7 has a simpler setup than the Pro, but it still holds its own. There’s a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS (compared to the Pro’s IMX906), and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter using an OmniVision OV08D10 (versus IMX355 on the Pro). These cameras do a solid job in most lighting conditions, although low-light shots might not be their strength.
On the front, you get a 16MP Sony IMX480 selfie shooter. Rear video maxes out at 4K 60 fps, and the front records up to 1080p at 60 fps.
For connectivity, Realme GT 7 features dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and even an IR blaster. Although it skips a headphone jack, you do get stereo speakers here. Realme also added second-gen bypass charging, which pulls power straight from the wall, helping reduce battery wear. The phone keeps cool thanks to a large vapor chamber, a graphene layer, and a conductive glass fiber back.
