Motorola Razr 60 Ultra launched with IP48 rating and upgraded performance

Moto has launched a new foldable phone for 2025, and this new device is the first to feature dust resistance. In this article, we will discuss everything we know about the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The new Razr 60 Ultra is slightly thicker, with a body measuring 171.5 x 74 x 7.2mm and weighing 199 grams. The main screen now measures 7 inches with a 22:9 aspect ratio, giving users more vertical space. It has a sharper 1224p+ resolution, a clear step up from the last generation’s 1080p+. The screen packs 464ppi and uses an LTPO panel that supports up to 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and 120% DCI-P3 color coverage.

On the front, the cover display grows to 4 inches with a vibrant P-OLED panel now protected by durable Gorilla Glass Ceramic. It also uses an LTPO screen and supports a 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy. On top of that, the phone offers a maximum brightness of 4,000 nits, which is one of the highest in any phone, making it great for outdoor use. The durability is the standout feature of this phone as a foldable with IP48 dust and water resistance. It comes in Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Cabaret colors.

Inside, the Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the new 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It runs two fast Oryon Phoenix L cores at 4.32GHz and six Phoenix M cores at 3.53GHz. In the graphic end, it is paired with Adreno 830. You get 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage, with some regions even getting a 1TB version. It runs on the latest Android 15 right out of the box. Powering all this is a large 4,700mAh battery that supports 68W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

Camera and Rest

The main camera setup includes a 50MP ultrawide shooter with 122° field of view, an f/2.0 lens, and 0.6µm pixels. It even doubles as a macro camera which is a clever touch. Alongside it, you have another 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens, 1.0µm pixels, OIS, all-pixel PDAF, and Pantone Validated Color & Skin Tones.

The camera can shoot in 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps. For selfies, the Razr 60 Ultra offers two options: the 4-inch outer screen with main cameras or a dedicated 50MP internal camera (f/2.0, 0.64µm), perfect for video calls or solo shots.

Other neat additions include Android’s digital car key support for select BMW and Mini models via NFC and UWB. Also, Dolby Vision support for both playback and recording, plus Dolby Atmos for stereo speakers, adds to the multimedia experience.
