Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K Now Available in Nepal

Blackmagic Design has launched the Cinema Camera 6K in Nepal, offering a significant step up from its Pocket series. Equipped with a full-frame 6K sensor and an active Leica L mount, this camera is designed for professionals who demand cinematic quality, color accuracy, and deep image flexibility. It also supports both Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy recording, making it ideal for fast-paced shooting and post-production workflows.

Full-frame 6K sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range

The large 24 x 35mm sensor delivers true open gate 3:2 capture at 6K resolution (6048 x 4032), and supports 6:5 anamorphic recording without cropping. Dual native ISOs (400/3200), expandable to 25,600, ensure excellent low-light performance.

Wide range of formats and lens support

Users can shoot in open gate 6K at up to 36 fps or switch to 4K anamorphic and Super35 crop for flexible workflows. The camera features an active Leica L mount and includes an optical low-pass filter optimized for the sensor.

Compact design, cloud workflow

Though compact, the camera supports simultaneous Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy capture to Blackmagic Cloud. It retains compatibility with many Pocket Cinema Camera accessories, making it ideal for existing users looking to upgrade.
